With regards to Bit Coin, All i can say on this matter, is from my own experience.
My son bought 1/4 of a coin back in 2011 for $100 to buy something from an American web site, set up an American wallet.
He never did buy the goods with the BitCoin and left it sat in the wallet. He forgot he had it but the wallet stayed on his phone.
2023 arrived and lo and behold he's sat on 15 odd grand. when he tried to move the coin from the original wallet to a more established on his password refused to be recognised by the new wallet. so he's now left in limbo with out being able to contact the wallet company.
so just beware in this digital age. there are a lot of fraudulent companies out there.
