Shopping Centre Trade was down 30.5%
Retail Park Trade was down 5.1%

On a shorter timescale it seems most investors have expectations that Brent will continue its steady climb.
This has certainly helped Enquest retain investors - we are not seeing a rush to sell every time Brent dips anymore.
Enquest is a very firm hold at the moment and a strong buy for new investors.

Yes, I think that if tech shares continue to stage a recovery CWR will follow the market.
CWR has always been speculative, so when tech shares are sold off or are flavour of the month, they will respond more dramatically.
I have held CWR since before the share consolidation, when they were about 15p, and have simply top sliced numerous times when the SP moved to overbought.

Market cap isn't just about assets and profitability, you have to factor in sentiment and potential as well.
There isn't always a logic, but it shouldn't stop investment - just proceed with caution, as always, and diversify.

As for BP, I agree, it looks like a good investment at the moment.

Ballard suffered a double blow in their latest quarter.
Earnings for power products mainly supplied to the Chinese market were down 25% and earnings from their Solutions project with Audi were down 29%.
These reductions could have been for a variety of reasons - Covid for example - so maybe the market has read to much into them.

One interesting question - did AB actually have to announce that there would be a share placing on 4th Feb?
The obvious time to announce it would be when the refinancing plans were announced in detail.

I would have thought that both Ocado's main shareholders would have asked for an expert legal opinion when Autostore started their latest legal campaign back in the Autumn - their latest share purchases would indicate that the legal opinion they were both given supported Ocado.

Having been badly bitten before by an Enquest share placing in the past, I will need a lot of convincing to participate, even though I only hold a tiny fraction of your holding.

It makes a massive difference with any share placement if they are offered from a position of strength or weakness.
So, it is not possible to asses the attractiveness of the offer or discount that will be offered at this stage.

In Enquest's case launching the offer from a position of strength needs Brent to be at least as high as it is now and for the refinancing position to be clear. Also AB needs to get the timing right in the interest of the shareholders.

I just see Musk as a maverick opportunist who is heading for a fall.
