This article from the BBC, now points out the obvious I think, that electric cars will become dominant.
As they point out, their development has passed a tipping point and with the worlds vehicle manufacturers fully onboard, there can only be one conclusion.
Also, with the price of batteries reducing all the time as economies of scale kick in, EV's are rapidly becoming the cheapest vehicles to produce.
This domination certainly doesn't apply to commercial vehicles - HGV's, Buses, Coaches, Trains - so I think that we can still expect some very positive news from China this summer regarding the Weichai Power partnership.
