I see Enquest as a North Sea energy company.

Over the the coming years, the North Sea will provide an ever increasing amount of our energy in one for or another, so many more business opportunities will emerge.

Its obviously up to AB what direction he follows but Enquest will certainly be involved is some way in renewables as operator of Sullom Voe and to comply with industry set emissions targets.

Very encouraging report from Hardman - they certainly think Tissue Regenix is on the right track.
Although, Covid in the US is still a problem and may stifle demand in the short term.

It will be green Enquest before you know it Monkey - there was lots to like in todays Government paper and some exciting routes to profit that will get the institutions back on board investing here and growing the SP into the FTSE250.

Longer term I think the momentum is still for Brent to continue its rise - shorter term I think we could see a correction back towards $75 or even lower before it rises again later in the year or early next year - I don't see $100 all the while OPEC+ still have spare capacity, I think they will open the taps soon, hence the dip.

The £100m spending on carbon capture is just for evaluation - eventually the Government says spending will be around £20 billion, funded from the private and public sectors - if they decide to use redundant North Sea Oil wells for carbon capture that could be very significant for Enquest.

Another very relevant policy for Enquest - re Greenhouse Gas Removals - Carbon Capture - backed with £100 million funding.

" Delivering £100 million of investment in GGR innovation could enable further deployment of GGRs, which in turn will leverage private investment and demand for transferrable engineering expertise from the UK’s oil and gas sector"

Then we come full circle to one of the main reasons for running the business with franchise partners - all the flack goes to them and they are ultimately expendable.

I would guess the bike riders and pickers will probably be the undocumented underclass.

I think that low tech might work here with minimum investment - hard working entrepreneurs, exploiting their staff and paying a pittance.

Its easy to see through this franchise setup with grocery chains just selling product into their franchise partners, advertising the service and then turning a blind eye - it could be the gig economy at its worst.

I think that Luke Jensen is right to be sceptical about the opportunity.

Its interesting that Getir are using the franchise model to roll out their fast delivery service in UK cities.
I think that with a highly motivated business owner running a franchise on a day to day basis that they could be on to a winner.
The entry cost for a franchise partner is only between £140 and £205K, they have use this model to open 560 franchises in Turkey.

The trouble is that just a few idiots can cause a lot of disruption - they have dismally failed with their latest campaign but I doubt we have heard the last of them, as they just keep one step ahead of the law.

Regarding the topic under discussion - I have you down as as a not acceptable, 60p within six months - very bullish - you sound more like a trader - is the 60p by Christmas?

We have actually had a slow and steady rise over the last year from 9p to 25p - following the rising trend line nearly all the time.

The same progress for another year would take the SP back close to 42p.

Yes, but even taking into account the uncertainty and AB's perceived failings, shouldn't the SP still be more than it is today, especially with Brent being so high.

Back in October 2018 the SP was around 42p and Brent was the same level as it is at the moment, since then we have had two open offer's but not enough to push the SP back to todays values.

So why isn't the SP closer to 42p?
Is it all about reducing production as indicated in the last update, especially with Kraken falling away from peak production?
Will the SP recover over the coming months if Brent stays in the $80's or more?
Will GE make a big difference?
Are debt's still too high?

Personally, I have run out of answers - I fully expected the SP to be at least 34p this Autumn.
