If one of those three works in every age group it will be Noble Prize time. I think all governments are praying that one of them just shows some protection to give society the confidence to fully engage in a return to normality.

I'm not saying it will be all smoke and mirrors but even a partial protection in the under 55's will be pushed hard and any data that's shared will be, shall I say, selected.

Scancell and Co need to prove that Covidity actually works in humans as well as expected from the lab work. I think at that point funding will not be a problem.

The only reason Oxford got the lions share of the gov funding was in truth because they had years of experience with SARS and MERS giving them a justifiable head start. Also the gov funding that has gone into the future UK based vaccine manufacturing will be there for Covidity and any future needed vaccines.

We still need a successful 2nd generation vaccine no matter what happens.

There have been some decent buys today which includef 3 over on NEX.
1,000, 3,450 and a 10,000 all above £1.31.

Plus on here we had a 1,000, 6,600, 7,800 and an end of day 5,000.

We are still a month away from the Year End Results for 2019 which will include any RP, CTX and Exosomes updates.

RENE has dropped the odd stealth RNS in the past so I'm keeping a watchful eye open for that possibility.

All trades fall between the Bid and the Ask.
The computer programme is set so any trade on or above the mid price between the current Bid / Ask is shown on the screen in Blue, to us that's a Buy but it could be a sell it depends on the price the Market Maker agreed on. Reversely the trade is shown as Red if its below the mid price and on many occasions those trades are buys.
Why we have to put up with such a crappy system is solely down to the Market Makers wanting to manipulate Sentiment.

Never assume any buy or sell unless it's exactly the Bid or Ask price at that particular point in time.

You have mentioned the Primary Bid shares a few times but to put the record straight it was 800,000,000 shares. If it had only been 80m that would make a big difference because it wouldn't cause a large churn of the stock.
There were 4.8b placing shares which mainly went to II's and I'm hoping they keep every single one of their shares.

There is going to be a lot of tactical buying and selling this next week and I'm still unsure which way the wind is blowing.

I think both you and Sandhopper are right, break-even will be the tipping point as it means the next step forward is announcing yearly profits. When I originally bought shares in TRX turnover was just reaching £1m and their products were beginning to attract contracts from Private Health companies in the USA. The promise after the acquisition of CellRight was break-even in 2020 and I worked out that they needed a turnover of £24m at that time to achieve that pivitol revenue point.

If you look at the £13m turnover in 2019, according to company statements 2020 should reach between £15 / £17m, so if 2021 reaches £20m T/O I think we will begin to operate close to break-even.

If that's how it works out beak-even will happen some time in 2022, that's about 2 years from now.

I actually opened mine as I consoled myself and realised that life is to short and must enjoyed as best you can.

It didn't help that as I sat sipping that most excellent dram that I worked out that the bottle was now equivalent to 34,000 new shares.....

Anyway the lid was firmly put back on and I'm determined to keep it put away until we can celebrate some aspect of TRX. Maybe breakeven is a good plan.

The quiet on this board just encapsulates the tension of which way will the Sentiment go. I don't have a clue if there's going to be a tide of sells come Thursday or a concentrated influx of buys. I'm totally confused as there are strong arguments for both positions.

I'm saddened that its come to this as I've been a very staunch supporter or TRX but still aching from the huge kick in the Baltics with that discount.

We don't know and will never know all the facts.

The placing price will have been as a result of many discussions with their current and potential Institutional Investors.
What we don't know is what was being demanded from the BOD by those current ii's to stay on board.
Maybe our BOD are not the best poker players and just got turned over by the big dogs or maybe the writing was well and truly 'On the Wall' and they had absolutely no other avenue.

As from today's RNS we do know that the MidCap loan is still available and was being used, as quoted :

"Drawdown of $2m of the MidCap Financial Term Loan, with access to a $3m Revolving Credit Facility
as at 31st December 2019
+ Net cash at 31 December 2019 of £2.38m (2018: £7.82m), including £1m of the MidCap Revolving Credit Facility"

So there is £3m that needs to be repaid plus a £7m Loss and MidCap probably made it very clear that this placing had to happen.

It is all part of the of the "Capital Restructuring" we debated earlier this year, it would seem that all the chickens have come home to roost at 0.25p.

To my fellow T.L.K. watchers, 'Destiny is All' just two more episodes of season 3 still to watch.

He's a visionary, it's nothong more than a prediction that when RENE get to 2p a share there will be a 100-1 consolidation.
So 70m shares at £2 = a MCap of £140m.

Very doable by the end of 2023.

I can't see all of today's trades but as a rough add up there were 14.5m ish buys and around 60m ish sells looking at the post 4.30pm trades.

There is much debate on here about what will happen next week but I think we can already see that the sheer volume of ashares about to be admitted to the market is making many holders offload just incase the price does drop well below 0.3p.

I agree that eventually when the madness settles we shall begin to see a steady march back to 0.7 or 0.8p.

The turnover volumes are going to be a little crazy for a few months.

Please don't get me wrong I'm still stinging from the huge drop in value and dilution. I'm resolutely going to stick around to get back to breakeven. Only then will I start to think about any potential profits and enjoy owning these shares again.

Fair points, my use of the word robust (meaning: strong, vigorous, strudy) was probably illconcieved. What I meant is that in those 3 years Scancell have not sat idlely by, Motitope has been improved to potentially work in a higher portion of patients, I'm presuming that from the original SCIB 1 trials that some patients are still alive after 8 years and there is the development of AvidiMab.

These facts added together have strengthened Scancells scientific worth.

Trial data it seems is paramount to getting the kind of attention that will bring in the right level of deals.

We need this Covidity platform to be funded soon, which may act as a validation or we need to raise sufficient funding to complete the SCIB1 / Combi and the MODI 1 phase trials.

Of course it's more robust, especially the Moditope Platform.

We don't know why there has never been a deal, maybe what has been offered without positive data was derisory and SCLP are holding for a better payday once there is the "proof of the pudding".

Lack of funding is just lack of funding.

Scancell have a wealth of platform IP, Patents and collaborations, what we want now is to fund those approved trials because when those first patients become cancer free even you Knowlesi will be a happy bunny.

That's the tricky thing about Scancell they have already proved that their technology and understanding of their science works. That's why it's been so frustrating to have not had trials running these past 3 years.

If anything the science is now more robust. The only thing holding Scancell back is the capital to do substantial trials.

I think they could easily raise more funds, my question is how much would we need and I surpose, what is the highest price we could hope for.
