I am so pleased that so many long term holders are actually back in the black and those not there yet it seems you only need to hold on just a matter of weeks, especially when we are told the size and range of the pending Mabs deal that should push on to the figures you guys need. Good luck.

I count myself as fortunate because I put over 50% of my investment into Scancell and I believed these days would arrive and now there here I'm a bit speechless at the veracity of the rise. I would have expected 17p to be breached after the deal news had landed.

I know I was kind of highly enthusiastic on my prediction of the MCap being as high as £120m by November and you adjudged that to be a little bit to rampy, but with news of a signed deal on the Mabs platform in a few weeks time we may very well reach that target or higher. Its a great run and really pleasing to see the wider market get the Scancell story.

Berm has a point, but :

I think your point that others would be 'priced in' to also buy into the rise you create which would add to the rising sentiment and would cause a much higher SP.

The other thing to say and is what I was saying to Ivy earlier, is that without the TriGrid2 fiasco SCIB1 / Combi 'could have been' trialed, the data acquired, the drug proven to work and the SP over £1.50.

So under those circumstances no PI would have been able to get anywhere near your total shares. So yep, great idea as Berm says to wait until now in hindsight but the truth is if the trials in SCIB1 and MODI1 prove themselves, our strategy to accumulate as many shares as possible and hold wins out every time.

I'm very content with my gathering skills.

2.5 million shares bought on Friday over approx 100 trades and the price up 11%.
So same amount bought in say 10 buys would force the MMs much higher.

At this moment in time trying to build a holding of 5 - 7 million would probably rise the SP by more than 20%, so probably 15.5p to 16p.

Very rough calcs and would depend massively on the sentiment created by that amount of upwards pressure.

Don't mind if you want to test it out.... : )

I did the same and bought as and when I could, the OO at 5.5p brought my average down to just under 7p but bought more at 6.9p and the last lot at 8.8p.

This time next year Rodders...... we be smiling like Cheshire Cats.

I think highly of your part in our discussions on this board but please don't do the 'answer but not answer' thing with me on this particular point........... What were the BOD supposed to do when the FDA kept on stringing out their decision on Ichors TriGrid2, the information was coming from Ichor so do you expect that they didn't also put spin on the facts. Our BOD were lead to believe that the decision would be soon, a couple of weeks, maybe next month .... blah blah blah

Then the dam FED was shut down by Trump... and you still think that our BOD could have magically found another way ......
this is why I'm getting so frustrated, it's total denial of the facts because it doesn't fit with your agenda, that the BOD are to blame for why the SP is down and on paper you've lost money.....

THe BOD and the Scancell team as a whole have done what they could when they could given the circumstances and as Bobbust has just said "given they are doing revolutionary science and on a very limited budget I think what they have done is amazing" and they have added to the 'Intellectual Property' that we got for FREE.

are you conveniently forgetting that is was the Ichor device held up by the FDA that cause a two year hiatus. This kind of historic warping of facts is what gets me so frustrated with this incessant 'blame the BOD'. Absolute claptrap.

Some of the comments made about how the company has been run these past four years tells me that those making those comments have never been in business and certainly don't understand the processes that can derail the very best plans.

I don't see it that way, there have been those who believed that Scancell would never get to the clinic and the science would either be sold off piecemeal or just never be back in vogue. The actual science idea and pathway may have been regarded by them but the management and its commitment to the task has been derided for years.

My faith wasn't and isn't blind, I understand the years it takes to produce good solid robust science and the run through the clinic is never a breeze. My faith was because of the SCIB1 early success and the determination and diligence of Prof Durrant and Prof Goodfellow.

I think speaking for myself and Inanaco we didn't worry about what the market thought about Scancells prospects, we both saw that the science was so compelling that it was just a matter of 'time', we were both patient and greedy for more shares. I was holding 500k of shares with an average of 14.2p and when the Woodford saga meant that Capital Finance or whatever they were called sold their shares at 3p, I didn't hesitate in taking advantage by picking up 250k more shares at 3.84p.

My point and my message for the last 3 years was these low prices were opportunities to buy and hold, when Vulpes got on board I bought even more.

Averaging down is only a bad idea when you are chasing lost money but with Scancell it as always been about getting to the clinic and publishing the data.
The science has never been a worry to me or Inanaco or GF123 or Crumbs or C7 and many others.

In his presentation Cliff said again that Scancell have multiple shots on goal. To me that means if we get one platform through the clinic the company will be deemed a success. The wider world needs to now realise that we have five, if you like, platforms all being validated in the next 12 / 18 months :

Immunobody ; SCIBI / Keytruda, including possible SCIB1 mono at some time + SCIB2

Moditope ; MODI1, MODI2 and MODI3

Glycan Mabs ;

AvidiMab ;

The very special FG2811 Mab

And each platform when proven has the potential to expand into many other targets.

I have not mentioned the Covidity Platform, if that template works using this new delivery system that in itself becomes a whole lineage of expansion. I don't think we know exactly how far that could ultimately reach.

I honestly feel that we are about to see the fruits of the last 8 to 10 years of our patience.

This potential deal said by Cliff to be arriving in one or two months ( quote from 27th August ) so by the end of October if not before will be an amazing lift to all investors in Scancell.

I was thinking of revamping the post for 'Nervous GGP Investors' but with this last weeks events I cannot see why anyone would be doubting an investment in this Superstar, Rock and Roller of a company. It really does feel like Havieron is Blessed. Just a once in a lifetime investment where if it could go right 'it has'. Doesn't happen very often in our lives to be part of a fairy-tale journey.

I hope in some small way that my updated and repeated post has helped to keep one or two of the investors on this board from selling up to early.

As is always said there is a group of posters that have kept me sat on my hands Paddy being one of the main voices of being very calm and confident.

So thank you for the mention and I will update and post maybe next weekend.

I agree that the rise is partly confidence returning, also people wanting to be on the next CV-19 bio-tech rise, but, some of the buys yesterday were larger that the norm and indicate to me that its something else.

The number and size of the trades smacks of a concerted effort to take a position while the price is still relatively cheap. My gut feeling is the possible Mabs deal, don't forget that Scancell could be watertight on leaks but there will be many involved on both sides of the deal and paperwork.

If we see continued buying this week without any news to confirm why and the share price is still rising then I think it can only be down to a deal being ratified in the next few weeks.

Just my opinion and we will have to wait and see if I'm right.

Some good solid buys coming in so word is getting about and not to long to wait for news.
The AGM is usually around Mid October give or take a week and the announcement of the AGM date usually 4 weeks before.
I'm just guessing but I were the BOD I would love to have that Mabs deal all signed and delivered before the AGM.

Time will tell, in the meantime a quote from one of my mates from Manchester...
