Rubbish from Tony the Baby....Tower has a good working relationship with the Cameroon Government as we saw at the end of last year when Jeremy had his picture taken with the President.

The elections/Cabinet Reshuffle & New Constitution are the reasons for the delay.

Sure, its frustrating for us all but we cannot control when Biya's cabinet is announced nor when they will grant approvals.

We have to either be patient and await our reward or sell & move on, continually whinging like Tony the Baby does is pointless.

I'm all for criticism & looking at the potential cons but there has to be some balance and the reward here on approvals should more than justify the wait so there is some balance.

Oh here we go again, Ukraine is advancing, Russia is retreating, Russia running out of ammunition, Russia running out of troops, Russia now fighting with Shovels and using old washing machines as shields.

Russian Economy is kaput, interest rates sky high, inflation sky high, no food on the shelves, army is starving, casualties are off the scale etc etc etc

Slava Ukraine Slave Ukraine. ..The Orcs are finished.. Blah Blah..Reality , 4 years on and this small Russian force has taken 20% of a 40,000,000 million populated country with the best equipped and largest army in Europe - supplied & funded by 27 of the Wealthiest countries in the world.

CMG, There is No rig, its a figment of your imagination, the Provisinal Rig Contract Tower had has ended/finished because of the extraordinary length( its normally 3months ) of time its taking to get approvals, of which all rig contracts must have before being binding.

A Rig must now be skyrced 'after' approvals.

The search cannot begin until after approvals and we don't get approvals until after the new cabinet is installed and the new cabinet is not being installed until after there's been a major constitution change to reinstall a Vice President so if you can get anything positive out of this run of events that must occur before we can begin the services mobilisation ( which itself requires several months,as per horses mouth) then you are the eternal optimist because after 13 months of absolutely nothing, there are now many more ducks that need to be lined up before Thali can spud than there were 13months ago.

I would much rather be positive and say how much I'm looking forward to Spud but tbe reality is there is no timeframe/ line whatsoever for Approvals/Rig/Spud, nothing and what should have taken 3 months has now taken 13months and is actually much further away than it was 13months ago as now we have to wait not only for a new cabinet but a new constitution change before a new cabinet and then approvals which wasn't the case 13months ago as back then we were only waiting on approvals -which Jezza said should be done withing 3 months ( end of Q1 25) and here we are nearing the end of Q1 26 and we're much much further away from approvals than we were back in Q1 25.

Get me a positive out of all this and I'll doff my cap to you !

Continued....so called peace talks as there has been no genuine negotiations or compromises from either side. Its been a complete Charade where both parties have no intention whatsoever of making peace and have only attended the talks so as to appease DT and make it look like to the world that they are trying for peace, when in fact, they are not trying at all for peace and merely continually simply state their own respective terms and then depart back to their respective countries.

Expect another low level delegation with no power to negotiate ! But at least these complete waste of time talks are almost at an end so that's good news as we are all sick & tired of getting our hopes up for peace & then always nothing.

According to close aides and they say there will only be 1 or 2 more rounds and then the talks are finished and its back to war for another 3 years like happened in 2022.

No Breakthrough is anticipated at this next meeting is and talks are expected to be brief and finish abruptly once each side has stated their respective terms for the 11th time.

I will be pleased to see the back of these so call

Sure, they may do a few more low level complete waste of time meets just to appease DT & pretend to the world that they both want peace but in reality they are both knuckling down to slog it out on the battlefield now that peace talks failed.

Zelensky wants the war to continue as much as Putin does as he then doesn't have to make any difficult concessions to Putin and Putin will be pleased that he can now get even more of Ukraine and set much harsher terms in a few years time when they decide to try a few peace talks again.

Naturally its extremely frustrating for all Tower shareholders as approvals were expected by the end of Q1 25 and now here we are approaching the end of Q1 26 and we are no nearer approvals than we were a year ago.

Its more frustrating that nothing has any timeframes, secured rigs have been lost and the rig search & process must now start from scratch once approvals are given, which could be this month, next month or next year.

Sure, its not JAs fault but the longer this goes on the lower the shareprice goes and the more dilutive placings we have to endure, so its certainly a most unpleasant and painful wait but hopefully it will be worth it when we finally get the approvals rns.

Its not just the territory Wilco, Russia demands Ukraine has no security other than what Russia provides or acceots .They say this new Ukraine will not need any security as it must be friendly to Russia and pose no threat nor be able to attack Russia.

Sure, this is unrealistic to the point of being bonkers but Russia seems adamant that No Nato troops be allowed in Ukraine after the war.

I think Putin's losing touch with reality like these dictators so often do as he's pretty much got the victory he wants and he's got a free pass fron the US & Europe to have sanctions lifted and come back into the world fold and do business with the West again but it seems like the last thing this madman wants is peace on extremely favourable terms.

And told his private group of aides to prepare for another 3 years of war.....Personally, I'm not buying this as what does Z think is going to happen in 3 years -other than Ukraine losing even more land and being in a much worse position than they are now ?

I think Zs let this out intentionally so Russia will think he is resigned to fighting another 3 years, which although Russia could do, they would much rather not so I think its just a Z ruse to come from another angle that would unease the Russians and maybe get them to make some concessions although I think the Russian's will know its a Z ruse and continue with their no concessions rule.

Z need peace or Ukraine gets smaller, simples.

"I know you are all impatiently waiting for the new cabinet to be announced" at a youth leaders group last week.....Obviously he's not referring to Tower shareholders, he's talking to the young people of his country but at least its some indication that he is actually aware of the need for some haste on the matter although this guy does whatever he wants and things he says can be taken with a pinch of salt as seen with his 'cabinet will be announced in days' statetement on 2/Jan.

There is now talk of Biya wanting to change the constitution and install a Vice President before a new cabinet and that may be the reason for the most recent delay but no one knows for sure, even, probably Biya as he Bimbles his way through his latest term.

All we can do is wait on the whim of this laid back 93 year old President.

Oh, you misunderstand Asher, I'd be very happy if the approvals rns lands tomorrow as I already have a sizeable position here just I also have funds ready to deploy should the need arise and the delays continue.

I wouldn't wish to be out when the approvals land as it will be very difficult, if not impossible, to buy in size and the premuim will be large so I'll loaded and waiting along with all other Tower holders just my strategy dictates I make provisions for any more delays.

Totally agree with the dry powder strategy CMG and I also have cash put to the side for the next series of placings & upcoming lows should the new cabinet/ cabinet approval/ rig search/rig contract & mobilisation of services take the time expected based on the time its taken to date.

But it isn't possible CMG, Jezza said it isnt possible weeks ago. He also said it will likely take months to get a rig and months to mobilise all the services and that can only begin after the new cabinet has been installed and after they have signed the approvals so Q2 is almost certainly no longer possible let alone Q1.

CMG yr living in a dreamworld if you think a Q1 drill is still on, even Jezza said its no longer possible & that was weeks ago.

First we need a new cabinet, then that cabinet needs to sign off approvals.

Then Jezza needs to find a rig & sign a rig contract and then get all the different services mobilised which Jezza says will take a few months to mobilise.

I'd say 3 to 6months is far more realistic to spud.

CMG.. If someone says' going short' when talking about shares it means they are going to forward sell them and hoping to profit from a fall.

In 25 years investing ( succesfully) in indices/currencies, futures, options & shares, I have 'never' heard 'going short' being said to mean holding shares for the short term..

If you mean investing for the short term ...then you don't say 'going short' as you did numerous times as its a completely different thing.

I was offering advice on the correct terminology which you are clearly unaware of so you can be clearly understood and your posts won't be misinterpreted or misunderstood.

I was only trying to helpful so no need to get all defensive.

Anyway: Let's hope we get those approvals ASAP then we'll have some real news to discuss alongside a much higher shareprice.

CMG...The term going 'short' in the financial & investment world is when you sell a share using a derivative through a broker and profit from a fall, the opposite term is called going long.

This is completely different from 'short term investing', which is what your referring to.

Its misleading to keep saying Short when you don't mean going Short.

But won't potential players be put off knowing they could be waiting years to ge government t approval to drill on the whim of a 93 year old President who does what he wants when he wants.

To be fair, Its not America's fault that Ukraine is at war with Russia and its also not fair that the American people have given $175 Billion for a European war that has nothing to do with them.

So Trump does have a valid point.
