The War in Iran has No Impact on Zelensky's or Putin's aides and they can meet in the US/Switzerland or Turkey.

The US/Iran war could last months at best /years at worst, so does Zelensky want to wait months/years, yes, of course he does.

Witcoff & Kushner are also able to meet so the only explanation for Zelensky nor wanting talks is that this is simply another excuse for him to delay peace.

Russia is ready to make the deal, Zelensky isn't, the terms won't ever change for tge better, they will only get worse.

Trump's told him to make a deal yet he is doing everything possible to not make a deal -whilst pretending he wants to make a peace deal.

Surely Trump can see through Zelensky's Charade ?

Because of the US conflict with Iran although it doesn't actually matter as both sides are working as hard as possible to ensure there is no peace at these talks.

I'm sure both sides will be very pleased with the postponement !

Well, its Certainly No Surprise the Russians are in full retreat again- being armed only with shovels & washing machines and having ran out of both troops & ammunition, not to mention food.

Their soldiers are starving !

I also hear they have been almost completely pushed out of the East of Ukraine & are in full retreat all the way back to Moscow with Ukrainian troops hot on their heels.

Oh, and if that wasn't bad enough, the Russian Economy has collapsed, they have Hyperinflation and the country is on the brink of Revolution as 99.9% want to oust Putin, who has been critically ill for the last 4 years with every type of cancer known to man !

Troll, Russia had 27 million casualties when they fought Germany so this 1mln figure you incorrectly quote ( which cannot be correct as NO casualties figures have been given ) is indeed modest by comparison, even if the figure 'you made up' was anything like correct.

And yes Troll, Russia has deployed a rather small ( 1million) force to Ukraine from a potential 25 million that can be mustered on a war footing.

I have been inforned its around 2000 square miles so although not insignificant its also not large either in comparison to the 115,000 sqkm they have already ceded to Russia so surely ceding another 1/2% is worth a peace deal ?

I hear Zs team have been given more measures to deal this time, whether that's just another one of the seemingly endless bluffs in these peace talks remains to be seen but one thing's for sure, we are getting to the put up or shut up stage of these peace talks so we should know soon one way or the other whether Z wants peace or a continuation of the fighting.

That seems like a reasonable concession for Peace considering Ukraine has already given up 115,000 Sq km.

Point is, Z gets peace for ceeding another paltry 40sqm, which he is going to lose in a year or two anyway so in the grand scheme of having already lost 115,000sqm, another 40sqm is a drop in the ocean to get peace, regardless of the strategic importance of this last little bit of land that the Orcs not only want, but one way or another, will get.

My guess is Zs already given up on this land but is just playing hardball and that's why the Orcs have now flushed him out by demanding he put up or shut up @ the peace talks.

That's not an unrealistic timeframe Len but I expect an all leaders meeting/summit in April before Ceasefire .

Once Z gives up that last little bit of land, I expect things to move fairly quickly then as all obstacles have then been removed.

Zelensky's No Territory Loss & All Russian Forces Must Return to Russia Red Line went years ago, he has to date given up 20% of his large country and only has to now give up another tiny piece to get peace.

So when you have already given up 115,007 square kilometres of your country and you can get peace by giving up another 40sqm, then, given Ukraine's weak position and no hope of recovering lost land, its actually a rather small piece of land to give for peace in comparison to the 115,000skm that Ukraine has already given up to the Orcs.

If talks go ahead as it looks like we are now at the put up or shut up phase. Russia has called an end to all Zelensky's delaying games and now he must put up or shut up.

So we could know one way or the other if this peace deal has any legs.

Contrary to what the Eua SuperTroll says about US Security guarantees, his Buddy Zelensky, really wants them and says they are a vital component of any peace deal.

So Zelensky does not follow Troll's line of thought on the Security Guarnteees. Oh and Trump won't be in power -if and when they are ever called upon.

Sorry, I'm confused by Boldygo & Makeabundle's posts ....Reading them suggests this small force of Orcs that have taken 20% of Ukraine are now in full retreat and will have no choice but to accept Zelensky's terms or face anilihation ?

Or is this just total delusion by the Pro Ukraine Brigade with the reality being that Russian has now demanded Zelensky give up the Donbas voluntarily now and have peace or stop all pesce talks & lose the Donabas by force in a year or two and then be presented with even harsher terms and No US security guarantees !

And have said there is no point in any further talks with Ukraine unless Ukraines withdraws all its troops from the Donbas.

At last, someone has finally put an end to Zelensky's Charade and its time for him to put up ( Cede Ground) or stop all talks and let Russia resolve it on the battlefield.

Should be an interesting week although expect Z to pretend to make some concessions without actually really making any.

How many times & months/years are they going to say talks are positive before they actually are positive in respect to ending the war.

Keep saying talks are positive after every meeting is getting extremely tiring as we only want to hear that both sides have agreed peace instead of these seemingly endless meets where we keep hearing talks were positive but none of the endless number of peace points have been agreed.

I have never seen peace talks like these that go on endlessly for years without actually making any 'real' progress.

Its ok Zelensky saying he wants a meeting with Putin but at the same time saying he will not give up territory yet he knows Putin will only meet him to sign off the peace deal and not negotiate the details so I don't get Zelensky's logic ? He's clearly playing some kind of game as he knows full well Putin will not meet until all the details have been resolved, which they haven't.

Unless, off course, Zs changed his mind and is now willing to give up the remaining territory demanded by the Russians.

Of Europe's largest conflict since WW2 so there are mixed signals all round as Z only the other day said peace talks have failed and its back to 3 more years of war so lots of skullduggery & bluffing all round.
