I would infact say inviting the Europeans is a step backwards for any peace deal. They will only complicate the peace plan by wanting to change almost everything & encourage Zelensky to disagree with the important points.

Its disappointing to see the talks going backwards with the Europeans getting involved and the Russians refusing to attend because the Europeans will be there creating 1000 problems with the peace plan.

We are indeed nearing that point E101, Its getting very near the time when Z has to put up or shut up.

However, inviting the Europeans will ensure Saturdays talks come to nothing other than putting 100 spanners in the works and trying to rewrite the entire Trump/Putin plan to Ukraines advantage.

That's why Russia will not attend, they will only liase with the Europeans on Ukraine once a peace draft has been agreed.

The Europeans should stay well clear of all peace talks until they are concluded and peace is agreed , only then should they be allowed to have they unimportant, meaningless say.
