The plan was for it to preceed Brockham i believe anyway.

Wouldn't be surprised if we were to see an RNS (today or Monday) updating us about Lidsey before Paul Vonks (Part 2) interview with Zak Mir about the mining fields in ANGUS Energy's portfolio.

Yes, my line of thought also. We are promised some sort of update re Lidsey as mentioned in recent RNS, perhaps that will precede interview Part 2, if not will be interesting to hear his views.

Angus Energy is the operator and majority partner of production licence PL235 located in the Weald Basin, onshore UK. Angus currently holds a 65% interest in the Brockham field.

Lets start looking at all the positives over the next 2 months

My Take was that it was a very quiet "conference call", but it was expected as these are only the Preliminary results.

2nd August the Audited results will be published (with full financials), a Webinar and conference call.

Reading between the lines there was some Mechanical issues, and replacement equipment had to come in from Australia, this is now in place and working and also CEY now have some back-up equipment available should it be needed.

It was emphasised that the main problem was LOW grades being mined. They have already now moved to better "Stopes?" where the grades are much higher and they reconfirmed their forward guidance of 505k - 515k for the full year.

Being a long term investor, I believe they will reach this target and may surprise with the dividend (expect slightly lower this HY).

Andrew Pardey, CEO commented:
“We have experienced several challenges this year, resulting in the revision of our full year guidance in May. I am pleased to report progress throughout June in the open pit, where mining has begun to access improved grades as we are currently mining through the lower areas of the transitional zone and into the sulphide ore, which will be mined in the third quarter and onwards for the next four years. Our focus now remains firmly on delivering the underground operations back in line with forecasts and returning Sukari’s production profile to a steady state.”
