We only have a 25% of Balcombe, therefore only 25% of the costs.

Therefore I don't think £1.5m has been sent on Balcombe, in fact very little seems to have been done since testing stopped last Autumn.

Balcombe: Angus Energy is pleased to announce that an application will be submitted to West Sussex County Council and other regulators for long term well testing of the horizontal well, Balcombe-2z.

The more limited operations originally proposed at Balcombe have been suspended whilst the Company prepares a planning application for an extended production test at the Balcombe field which shall be submitted as early as practicable subject to the approval of our partners in the Licence. The Company intends to apply and plan for a long term production test for a minimum of 150 days, and also for further extended long term production testing of a minimum of 24 months if granted. It is intended to keep a dialogue with all regulators throughout the preparation of the planning application to ensure that any regulatory delays in the future are minimised, and the Company can move to well testing as soon as approvals are granted.

I guess we are due an update soon, maybe by/at AGM?

Angus Energy Plc (AIM:ANGS), a leading UK conventional oil and gas production and development company, announces that it has submitted an application for an extended well test at Balcombe to the UK Oil and Gas Authority (the "OGA") in addition to an HSE ("Health and Safety Executive") Notification under the BSOR 95, Reg. 6.

The operation at Balcombe is planned to remove all remaining wellbore and drilling fluids from said well and leave the well ready for extended long term production prior to submitting a Field Development Plan to the OGA and agreeing such with the local planning authority. It will also allow the utilization of the current well testing package from Brockham.

The local planning authority and community liaison committee shall be consulted in due course to agree a way forward. An update shall follow post consultation.

Ja51 has previously been reported on this board as being a local resident living close to our Oil drilling sites and is constantly sniping, de-ramping and against anything constructive ANGUS do.

What happened to those production levels to drop? & why can't they be easily resurrected back?

+ We now have permission for 24/7 production so could we push this up to 350 - 450 bopd range.(or is that just wishful thinking).
