Because of Omicron people book too few tickets but the Airlines just keep flying because otherwise they risk losing their precious time slots at the airport; time slots are certain houres when the Airlines are allowed to take off and land at the airport, populair slots for example are between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm because than many business people leave for all European capitals. If an airline loses a slot, this is permanent and they loses all these passengers in one fell swoop and therefor their income and these slots go to lowcost airlines such as Ryanair or EasyJet in the long term, the death knell for the regular airlines (obligation of Europe => airlines now fly empty planes to keep their slots - BXL-Barcelona 60 tons of CO2 emitted useless) c´one TLW c´one ...
