Jeez mate did you bother to read what he said. You cant do heritage surveys in WA because the local aboriginals aren't carrying them out.

Dunes are 4-5m high mate....thats a D9 thats done that and not easy to get permits to cross those dunes.
Must be serious to go to that effort.
F%^K me dead......we're gunna need a bigger boat.

Paddy and OT
great pick ups fellas...500m+ step outs there. the Southly hole has a rig on it now. They have pushed a track across that dune system for access it looks like.
Jesus f*&King christ something big is going on!
CB
Paddy old mate
you are correct as always....its a 90 man + camp
not long till next drill update...gunna be huge
cheers

Paddy mate
Those new rigs would be fine into Hav imo
agree all about Hav and once settles down then Scally will kick off
cheers
CB
reckon scally not gunna happen just yet fellas
WA govt just said keen for essential works only to continue and newcrest classify Hav as essential but doubt other exploration crews will be allowed on site.
anyway as long as Hav drilling no worries

Ecuador aint Western Australia mate
The NT has a very high indigenous population relative to rest of Oz and lots of small communities. Fear is indigenous people may be more susceptible genetically and due to poor health outcomes.
probably a fair call IMO
See my previous post on why Telfer/Hav better placed. Isolation is king.
CB
Gents,
Transit from Tanamai to Havieron 2 days....nothing major as roads look pretty clear. A big loop up towards the north to the N1 and across near Derby, Broome and then south to Telfer.
Trucks can still move about cross boarder. It's really tourists and non essentials etc they want to stop.
9-10 rigs is very far from normal.....its a massive campaign.....Id say easily the largest in Australia at the moment.
Advantage of Hav/Telfer is its isolation. No indigenous settlements that close and a v young workforce with medical facilities at Telfer.
expect work to continue relatively unaffected.....WA needs mining ops and exploration....total lifeblood.

Gday fellas
Newmont knocked off work in the NT as the Govt told them to stop work.
I have it on good authority that 2 of those rigs are now on the way from Tanamai to Havieron.
Would take the rig count to 9 or 10.

CB
nah mate no idea.

Oh yeah hows those freakin step outs.....if they hit something it will be to the north of the next dunes......and that means Hav is heaps bigger than we think and just getting bigger
CB
Gday fellas
Spoken to heaps of crew on remote sites and basically blokes are being offered to stay at work for extended rosters or go home and possibly not come back.
Many are choosing to stay out at work. I suspect the DDH1 drill crews will want to stay and not go on break.
Lets wait and see but given the assay backlog from HAV is about 3-4 months then hardly an issue.
Cheers and stay cool folks

No it means nothing is currently material
Not that nothing is brewing
there is also a new hole to the SSE....to the east of the southerly cluster.
clearly just desperate sellers trying to realise cash across the board.....as always concentrate on the facts and try to ignore the noise.
value is value...nothing has changed
