grade v ASIC is not liner. idiotic to think it is. you fail to understand the economics of bulk underground and why Cadia is the largest GM in OZ and has an ASIC of $156/oz at depths much greater than HAV and grades of 0.8gpt.
Cost per tonne waste and ore, dilution, cost of capital, transport, processing, penalty elements all impact. grade is one variable.
stop talking if you have no idea what you are talking about mate is my advice to you
Fark me you are gunna want to see the sat image that just went up.
new step outs in the W near camp and in the very south.
more importantly 2 pads about 800m-1km due north of the main horseshoe.....bloody hell.
Paddy will highlight no doubt but do yourself a favour!

Assay labs unaffected mate
tricky one fellas. lots of definite new holes...lots of potential new ones.
rain has filled up lots of soaks and old sumps. we also have a swimming hole at lake Havieron. hope they remembered to pack the budgie smugglers.
All happening.....sure you blokes will pick over with a fine tooth comb. could be some old holes way up north but not sure.
Cheers
CB
new one up. lucky to even get a shot but a bit hazy.
been ****ing down across whole of WA.
can see a new hole in the NW (line of 3 closest to camp) and maybe a few others. hard to see tbh.
Paddy can give it the once over would be great.
cheers

Yeah good question mate.
About 2km. Get deeper than that and the vent/cooling gets pretty expensive for block caving (bulk breccia). Given the geotherm the rock temps could/would be about 50 degrees c at those depths.
the HG sulphide material you could follow deeper. At the end of the day Grade x Gold Price will drive those decisions.
We will all be dead an buried by then so don't stress mate.

Rubbish
Reciprocal tax treaty. We Oz citizens/residents pay tax on UK or any other income or gains unless that tax has already been paid in the UK.

Fk me SK it actually it adds up pretty well give or take. End of tax year in Oz is June 30.
1.6m gross - 112k = 1.48m
CGT at 25% (assuming he got discount and not rated as income) then leaves a tax bill of circa 360k
4.5m sold is 420k - 112k exercise leaves about 320k to pay tax on this position. may have offsets elsewhere etc and allowances.
all figs rough

what on earth are you talking about mate? why are you including 700m of external waste in a resource calc?
you mine internal waste and dilution, you don't mine external waste and cover???
resource is an economic calculation
seriously
CB
Gday mate. Don't forget there aren't any "remote communities" anywhere near Telfer....nearest tiny town is 250Km away.
Martu dont live anywhere near. just need em to to say "ok" and thats it.
Sat image up. Plenty new drill pads. Will let Paddy weave his magic.

Mate,
Also 30 years in global mining industry reviewing projects can I just say what a fantastic, accurate and entertaining presentation. For anyone thinking of investing in any gold company but especially GGP this is mandatory viewing. Your insights are superb (espec the post min dyke) as have been spending much time mulling these issues myself.
Absolute ripper. Made my day. If you had a weekly radio show on geology of global deposits Id subscribe.

why because you own shares in SOLG or I am factually wrong?
pretty well known in industry mate. If Ecuador has suddenly become Switzerland then I must have missed that news bulletin.

BHP have got ball-deep in SOLG and probably cant get out of it. Reckon Newcrest will offload their stake to them as soon as possible. Sandeep must be stoked BHP got sucked further in cos gives him an excuse to get the f*ck out.
SOLG not a Tier1. Just Cu optionality in a pretty sh*t country (129th out of 190) with no infrastructure.
Anyway enough from me for a while. See y'all soon.

Paddy me ole mate
think you covered it. Qtly was a belter. They already started the step outs and its Q4FY anyway.
Was not expecting the $1B raise.
saw someone had the numbers about right the other day on the decline. 7-1 about 3000m to get to top of mineralistion + development drives and drill rooms. probably a 6m diameter not 5m. vents and risers plus topside box cut and infrastructure.
tunnelling, development drives and vents say A$35m, topside emergency and box cut A$10m. dewatering not clear yet but assume bugger all say $5m.
probably more for that for Red Chris given dewatering and double egress requirements on operating mine. Say A$100m.
Fruta Del Norte A$500m.
Raised $1.1B + A$600m draw down + A$1B other liquidity.
A$650m spent on all three items mentioned in Qtly
>A$2B left unspent.
Join the dots.

GDay all. this board way too busy for my likes but still keep up to date w Paddy and other long term holders.
