Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Its a positive long term, negative short term. I'm sitting tight because I worked on getting my stake to a position I was willing to lose but not willing to risk getting a sell / buyback wrong. Others will have to DYOR, but I hope everyone takes heart from this group today if the ride gets bumpy.
Anyone know the implications from an expert on having kit stuck at the bottom of the well?
Si-Derman, very amusing! It might not be, but either its a fairly significant win or CF was smart enough to realise we needed a little something for the weekend. If its the first of a steady stream, then CF won't need any Jedi mind tricks.
I got an IR response, which I will paste below.
In addition, someone in the Telegram group emailed CF directly and he replied to reassure them that there is still news to come and once its out he'll be able to buy. He also added that the Poolbeg IPO may have caused some to sell to cover buy in to that, but he's confident that the share price will improve.
I think that's a reasonable response, but try not to shoot the messenger. Thanks.
Response from IR:
"Thanks for your email. We will pass on your feedback to the company but we can’t provide any update on future news – ORPH have your contact details and will email you as soon as any news is provided by the Company.
Cathal has publicly stated that he is keen to buy shares in ORPH and that hasn’t changed – but he can only do this when he is no longer precluded from doing so."
Difficult to say Kevin, other than saying there will always be someone flipping a quick trade or rearranging their portfolio for other reasons. Most of us are locked in for news now.
28p? Wouldn't we all love that after the last few days Bronx.
Jimzi - everyone's tetchy because of the drop. I've been in a foul mood ; ). Don't take it personally.
Are you saying there's a large seller with trades going through off book and in that way, we see the price appear to be walked down even when buys are popping up regularly?
No offence to anyone else, I definitely think there's some panic selling going on, but the whole debacle would make more sense if there is a big seller triggering the walk down on price. Plus that has the added bonus that it might actually end sometime as well and I can stop having to look through my hands at the screen.
Jimzi mentioned that we are all in a 'bubble' over here on this board and I think that's right. But the drop here still seems more significant than elsewhere. Novacyt is up 4% today, Avacta is only down 2%. What's going on with the share price for OO is being driven by the market to a degree but nowhere near as much as is being suggested this morning. Some of it has to be panic at no news.
Like Hvivo pointed out, I would have thought at some point CF will have to care about the loss of trust.
Hi, does anyone have the Telegram group link for OO please? I can't find it in the chat history but I am pretty sure there is one.
Is anyone else with HSBC / having trouble getting Poolbeg shares reflected from the spin out? I know there will be a lock-up but the board seems to show some brokers are reflecting the stock even though its not tradeable. I am with HSBC and they keep saying they have not been advised of the corporate action by the company.
Thanks.
Lucky - Its nowhere near rainy season in Tanzania, a quick google reveals that is March to May.
As if someone is going to commit corporate fraud on such a scale and as if OO would have chosen them if they were that 'iffy'. If you have genuine concerns, you should be emailing Investor Relations, not placing it on a bb.
I am honestly baffled by the OO share price. What, was there only 3 of us bought after 30p and every other holder is a long term holder with an average under 20p? Otherwise, who can actually afford to sell at this level and still take profit?
Jimzi - that's the weird thing, it was my first thought, so I went and looked at the pharma. We're overdone on the drop compared to even the most singular Covid plays. That's why the board is weird today, because the drop is overdone.
What is going on here today? The share price is through the floor and yet a single purchase for 925,000 just went through.
Also, can we stop hitting 'reply' on the panic thread so that we can ditch the doom laden subject heading please?
Brilliant. That's made my day.
Is there still a Telegram group still for OO? Can anyone post a link please? Thanks.
Awesome post Skittish. Its a beautiful bit of detective work. An aside on the 400m point if its not already in another thread - Didn't DM say in the interview that they decided not to log at 400m, so there is nothing to RNS either way. I think if they had logged at 400m and found nothing positive, we'd have received an RNS saying that. I do think the share price will kick off in the morning and go nuts all day. We might even get the much talked about 30p - if anyone cares about such details anymore after that interview ; )
Enjoying the Zak Mir addition to the list. I'll go for GBP 1.16 - taking it seriously this time. Thanks.
Will it be Crawshaw and Siro Siro or will there be a little squeeze up last minute to let Rambino and Mbuzi take the prize? The excitement is killing me ; ) Thanks for running the list raharh.
NiceNeil, I don't think charts are a predictor, they are an indicator and I would guess people using them chart for planning possible entry and exit points, plus to spot trading channels and support. Seems pretty sensible, given how easy it is to get carried away.
Is this meant to be the RNS CF was referring to? I thought he said there would be some exciting news and things would be looking very different in a couple of weeks? I know I'm whinging...is everyone else assuming there is a delay since and rolling with it?
