If sub contractors are paying below minimum wages , let the Government inspectors go in , seize the books prove it and prosecute . Perhaps as an M&S shareholder I can now demand a list of all M&S suppliers and sub contractors , and systematically go through their payroll records both here and abroad ,and interview workers to verify facts ; same with Next and ASOS need I go on. Trial by the sleazy media is not the way to go , nor by halfwits on social media hell bent on destroying our business . There is a correct procedure to follow.

I used to produce for M&S , John Lewis Group and many others , the factory workers were so poorly paid most were on FIS , Family income supplement . Why , because the customers wanted everything for the lowest price possible , so they could mark up the prices with maximum return for themselves. It will be the same today , nothing changes. Boohoo is being attacked because they are a success , and a threat to the mighty High Street. We should not fuel the fire. , we have a sound business . M&S helped to destroy the British clothing factories ,and took their business abroad to third world and their clothes show it .

A full enquiry should be launched to ascertain where the statements came from that have caused so much damage to our Company , and people named .

Let's investigate Marks and Spencer , John Lewis and all the other High Street shops , and find all their suppliers , and check their payrolls etc. Who instigated it and why ?

This Company has been very successful in buying into what were big named groups , and saving many jobs . The fact that one factory has allegedly exploited their employees , and is believed to be a sub contractor , should not be allowed to tarnish what is now a major British brand . The answer is simple , go back to this factory , and make sure the labour force is paid the correct rate for the job , and make the employers pay them back pay. But more importantly put someone in charge at Boohoo to go around checking on all the sites supplying the group and making sure they are complying with the laws of the land . An apology from the top would also restore the reputation of the Group.

I need some good news having just been reading about Boohoo and a 40p drop in price .

Was the work farmed out by another manufacturing sub contractor for Boohoo , to cut costs , without Boohoo knowing ?

I am in shock , just too much for a Friday afternoon . But long may it continue , but remember we have been here before .

I am not too sure about loads of people going to pubs when opening up again . It takes a heck of a lot of preparation to safely start the beer pumps and pipelines after a shut down with loads of yeasts and nasties lurking about . I will leave it a few weeks before I venture out .

After 25 years , AIM needs sorting out to stop shysters running Companies . The number of Companies I have watched over the years ripping off unsuspecting small investors is nothing short of criminal . This lot should be charged with fraud and jailed, all in my simple , humble opinion. Boiler House scams are alive , well and thriving , be aware folks .
