But that ,this morning ,with the mms dropping the price on a total of just 15k in trades given where this company is right now …literally a walking cash cow … tells u everything about just how crazy this investing lark truly is . lol ..Unbelievable fellas .

Been mugged off there today sad to say . I know they are there to make a market but that last hour or so is taking the P as that clearly wasn’t genuine market forces at play , well not imho ..for what its worth

Just over 200k shares traded so far and the price marked down 8% u couldn’t make it up .

This is going to pop upwards anytime soon .

Morning Richy ,well mate I totally agree with ur sentiments but when an uber positive guy like u says the update is ok tells us all it’s just another steady as she goes AV update , where it’s all ticking over nicely and it will come good eventually ,which I’m all sure it will .

But likewise nothing in there to get the juices really flowing which is why I guess we see a few traders doing what they’re doing .

Not entirely sure why the scope widening on the strategic process has not been done well before this juncture tbh ,but that should now open up some pretty decent opportunities the way this is heading . I for one sure hope as it’s been a long old wait .GLA

I agree jcep in fact I’d say that was a million buy split into 2 chunks .. it’s like right now u can buy 550k at 4.9 but anything above that is 4.99 .

At least those trades have moved the dial up a bit but can u imagine if tin did hit 100000 as predicted on current form I’m sure we would hit 6p . No 60p I meant .. anyway we can dream …have a great weekend all .

For what its worth I just can’t get my head round what’s happened yet again today as by my reckoning out of the 4.6 million shares traded & after looking at the prices quoted I’d say the buy numbers outweighed the sales by nigh on 4 to 1 yet the price doesn’t move . 2 days ago it was showing a similar pattern & yet ticked up just 5 cents yesterday it was hardly a sell off but somehow dipped 15 c so how any of that makes sense is a mystery to me .All will be revealed I suppose soon enough so will just have to suck it up and wait a bit longer b4 my golden tickets get me into the chocolate factory hopefully lol . Morning all , Over the 4/5 years I’ve been invested here I’d like to think I’ve got a decent understanding of what we are trying to achieve here & that hopefully I’ve been able to recognise the absolute potential from both a human and an investment perspective of just what an incredible difference Avacta could make to cancer sufferers the world over That said ,after reading JT’s articulate & excellent summary earlier today re the UPS patient I don’t think now on reflection that I had in fact ,quite grasped enough just how amazing this could transpire when the next update is released for the patient primarily & also for Avacta . My point being it’s a great pity that posts like that can’t be pinned as they are on X as that to me is as clear as daylight as to how close we are/ could be to finding the holy grail that every other pharma is looking for . Let’s hope so as it could be a game changer hopefully . GLA

Afternoon richy , well it’s just gone a lot crazier with volume now over 5 million and most of those recent trades all buys based on the bid /ask prices & yet it’s only now lifted the ask to 5.04 and the bid to 4.85 which had it been the other way round we would have seen a drop down for sure … I guess the good news is someone is clearly accumulating at these gift horse prices , & u can’t blame them one bit so that’s an encouraging sign for a move upwards pretty soon hopefully . Morning all , well having followed the pricing up to this point I reckon the bulk of todays trading have been buys but u would never know that & had it been the opposite I’m pretty sure the price would have reflected it with a price drop , anyway the tin price is pushing 34k & news must be pretty imminent one would hope which should help to re rate this beast into something much closer to seeing its true value . Good to see the Berenberg coverage begin & I don’t know why but having listened to Clinton Baptiste on the radio the other day I’m getting the word “June “ or is it “July “ for the JV update ..lol …so watch this space . The virtue of patience still stands here but we must be getting closer methinks. Exciting times GLA

For me that Rns has done exactly what it’s been set out to do as firstly it’s having to close the chapter on Alastair’s tenure and it’s tried to do that in as respectful a way as it was able to , in giving a strong pointer as to where the company is now heading in the future . Whatever ur stance this move did need making it’s natural evolution & a changing of the guess was necessary imho .There’s also nothing new in there yet ..but the feel of it implies to me there will be shortly . CC is a great appointment but she doesn’t officially start her new role til tomoz so no ground breaking stuff was ever likely to be announced today in truth was it really ? . Ultimately though this is the start of a different chapter & there’s no doubt the narrative is advocating a string of change in how they communicate & the strategic intentions going forward & i like it a lot but the ultimate test is always based on results so it either will or it won’t but I think the former myself altho that’s just my take on it as always . Anyway GLA exciting times await hopefully

I first invested here in 2019/20 when the sp was just 13p & it was solely on the back of the science and nothing has changed , but regarding the above thread I’d just like to say that that is just your interpretation of what AS has said . My own view is that in the first part of that quote .. he’s saying he’s got clear irrefutable evidence that the platform works & he has ,so whilst I accept a lot more irrefutable evidence would add a lot more substance to the cause , it could be argued he thinks the existing evidence is more than sufficient to at least be able to speak to BP about doing a deal . He then follows that by saying the 2nd key element is having a sufficiently long cash runway ….which he actually states that we have now got …

So based on that I think he would be pretty much ready to do a deal with BP at any time provided it was the right deal & a deal that suited both parties & for all we know ….that could be on the cards as I type ,just as much as thinking it isn’t going to happen anytime soon .

He then goes on to explain why he’s not interested in doing smaller deals as it’s highly likely it would potentially cut across a number of key drivers which may in turn prevent BP from bidding & I get that big time why would they want anyone else involved when obtaining a slice of the paradigm shift in cancer therapy ..cos I know I wouldn’t …

What is pretty clear however, is that Avacta’s main objective is to seek a deep pocketed partner who in turn has made it plainly apparent they don’t want a sloppy seconds portion …no they want to be the big cheese & why wouldn’t they .. it’s a no brainer

Point being this of course is just my opinion & I could be totally wrong but so could the opposite view but thats why a range of views is important on a BB some u agree with some u don’t …but that’s why we all pay our money and we all take our chances just as it should be .

I’ve been here nearly 5years now & it’s been a long wait & I get totally all the frustrations of everyone on this board but after that last lot of data and with continuing signs of progress all the signs are signalling we are still on the right path but also having been in 4d which ended up being an absolute shxx show there is imho a case not to be totally blind sided in your own pov . Morning all, I know there’s a theory that every Rns is a reason to sell , but after reading that update today , us now being timescale wise yet another month further down the line , then adding in what AV said in that previous I/v with Proactive about the strategic process & literally stating huge news was on the horizon , I’m just a bit baffled as to why peeps would be offloading now when we must be fast approaching a pivotal juncture , altho look I do accept the counter views expressed here of late as a possible reason for some losing patience .

However, as Early bird rightly says we must be getting close anytime soon hopefully . Sounds all good to me .GLA

The amount of years I’ve been in this game I never take anything for granted and I think we all know in the mining game timescales are never short they’re always being extended for one reason or another as that’s the nature of the beast i do get where ur coming from TT but on re playing that video which I know is a proactive special but when he says the size of the deposit is a behemoth and he also says he knows that all investors are waiting for the partnership news and then follows it with there is big news on the horizon … I just can’t believe he would say that if that wasn’t the case surely . I know don’t call u Shirley but after seeing Robin Mayes ‘ video & putting all the pieces together with this one I think despite him overstating matters in the past there’s no doubt in my mind he knows exactly what’s coming here , so I guess u either run with that or u still have your doubts . Personally ,I think it will be worth the wait myself but just as it should be it’s each to his own but I accept fully the points u have made cos I’m quite happy to get a different take on things as that’s what these boards are for . Well from what I can see there has been 10 recorded trades totalling circa 70k with 7 buys and 3 sales totalling about 14k of that figure yet the sp was marked down from 4.7-4.8 to 4.5-4.8 after the first sale of less than 10k which makes no sense to me whatsoever ,so when folk talk of the mm’s taking the proverbial , that there today must be a classic example of exactly that - no wonder markets are called irrational

in the FT about Nissan / Honda tie up as the EV revolution really starts to ramp up with VW also looking at doing likewise with Renault so here’s yet another massive opportunity for Atm down the line me thinks as this is where we hope to be heading based on these 2 excerpts from the last Rns

Putting all the pieces together with the impending JV on board is indicating to me that Atm is defo well placed to see why AV thinks this could ultimately become a billion dollar company …. I think we all know that stock markets by enlarge are both irrational and unpredictable but I do find it so puzzling when u see 2/3 days ago it’s was 4.90 -5p to sell and obviously a fair few did and I get that after the recent rise too but what I do find odd is like today why would anyone be selling at 4.4-4.5 when they could have done at 4.9-5 p 2 days ago …
