Our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with QuotedData's Edward Marten has just been released. Listen here.
TAN are you referring to my post being boring? You are great entertainment with your utter drivel with every post.
Yes very cheap advertising. They are getting a lot more coverage with the carnage than the alternative at the moment. That would be driving around at the back with no tv time or coverage.
Most companies would be paying multiples more for being the headline sponsor with full car branding of any F1 team.
I can 100% tell you that the Valkyrie is being built at Aston. I have seen the production line with at least 20 cars at different stages. I have agreed that they are having issues due to the complexity but they are definitely being completed. 3 cars were going out the door when I was there at the end of last year.
Hi Lurkio, yes my spec is in and actually goes into production on Monday. I think 6-8 weeks to delivery however.
Went quite conservative with green exterior and Black and Tan interior.
First shots I have seen outside

One of the reasons that the convertible is unlikely (other than telling the coupe customers that is wasn’t) is that the V12 is actually based on the same base as the speedster so actually they have already made it.
I own a few Astons so I am familiar with the previous managements tactics however I do think this new team will pay a bit more attention to customer retention and satisfaction at least I hope so.
So I guess those of us who signed the NDA are now able to break silence on the V12.
The pictures or the video release do not do it justice at all. The car looks fabulous and even the wing looks good in the flesh.
They showed a video initially while the cover was still on the car and I had a similar response to some of you. Not impressed at all but when the cover was taken off the car was very striking and more elegant than I was expecting.
The Mercedes interior parts I cannot defend and is in fact why I have not owned a current vantage however the new seats do bring a much needed specialness to the interior.
Would I be purchasing this car if it was not limited numbers? No I wouldn’t but I am because I do believe it is a very special send off to the V12 Vantage.
2645 I have not taken the second half yet. Waiting to see which way this war is leaning.
Sure we can meet in June. I landed in the Uk this morning actually. I will be at Podium most days over the next couple of weeks if anybody is around.
I do have my suspicions that they are still having issues with Valkyrie but that is not that surprising and certainly won’t mean that people will be asking for the deposits back.
The delay will have some financial consequences but the deposits will not be the issue. I have not heard anything about an official recall but I can imagine that some cars are having issues.
The press drives will come fairly soon once the teething problems are solved.
What happened to that ray of light, Dunnie?
Reading a post and seeing what it says vs paying attention and listening to your advice are completely different things.
I wouldn’t expect a man with your intellect to understand the difference however.
Strangely I didn’t hit the bottom of the market 2645. You must always hit the bottom every time and sell at the top the way you talk.
You must be a top analyst and a billionaire at the same time with those skills. I was very down on AML last time also but managed to make £600k profit. How much did you make on AML while selling early before the bog rise and buying close to the top.
I will just give my opinion and sometimes I will have some info that is not public domain and people are free to rear or not.
One thing I do know is that nobody is listening to your nonsense so you may as well go and do your public service on another board.
2645 you have been exposed for being a fraud and have chosen to ignore the lengthy truth post but all can see and so your credibility (if you had any) is shot.
On the refreshed sports cars and the Valhalla you are correct they are not likely to hit the road until 2024. This year you will see the V12 but in limited numbers. The 707 will be the main driving force this year and will start deliveries in the summer. Also Valkyrie should pick up pace but probably only 75-100 delivered.
I do see a growth this year on revenue but as stated by the company they will still burn cash. This is a means to an end and building for the future m. They now have the new factory up and running in Wales which has plenty of capacity and is being ramped up this year and then the sports car series will be the next big jump in 24.
Tough year ahead hence the current share price however plenty of positives looking 2/3 years forward.
Definitely some good straight line performance given the conditions. I also suspect they have or will break the SUV Nurburgring record.
I am guessing 22022 is an alias of 2645?
Bristol don’t tell 2645 that people are actually buying AML shares he will need to hunt them down and tell them how stupid they are.
I have bought on an emotional connection however that doesn’t mean I have not done research or understand the situation.
What I do understand is that some risk still exists however so does a large upside possibility if all goes to plan over the next 3-5 years. If you are saying that the leadership team is blindly optimistic and lying to us about the potential future success then that is your opinion. Stop stating it as fact.
I take many calculated risks in business that has obviously served me very well over the last 25 plus years. If you want a sure thing then go buy some US bonds.
You said 12,000 because it was double 6,000 so don’t try to cover up your rubbish.
I am aware of the intangibles but they do not have a lifespan and can be written down if and when they would like or not.
I am sure Stroll was talking in broad strokes with the numbers mentioned however with the minimum of 40% on the £2bil those numbers do line up.
I believe additional to those numbers the special projects and Aston Works could increase margins as well as the bottom line.
You had quoted the 12,000 vehicle number as being not profitable so if you extrapolate from the additional 2,000 plus a larger margin on the special operations side the company will be profitable. You then backtracked to the 10,000 number once challenged.
I cannot give you the numbers as that would involve predicting the launch of the new line of cars in 2023 and the retail prices. They are saying a minimum of 40% margin on the 707 and on the updated vehicles from 2023.
It would also involve predicting what type of refinancing deal they can negotiate. I cannot give you the numbers you requested and neither can you to promote your argument.
Why such interest for you in AML if all you are trying to do is save us from ourselves?
