I have started to take all my money out of lloyds they are not going to make money from my money when the interest they pay is a joke. I am also taking my shares out of the Halifax share account this bank is the worst investment I have ever made. As for the dividend being cancelled I feel like I have been mugged by the government. I will be stuck on this share for years as I am 72 years of age I will be lucky to get out before I pas away, I am 60% down on my investment and no dividend to count on.
I have started to remove all my money from lloyds ,they and the government have stolen my dividend so l am dammed sure they are not going to make money from my money when paying next to nothing in interest. I voted for Boris but never again they are robbing Peter to pay Paul.
When the Chancellor said we will do whatever it takes because it's not your fault ,we will pay 80% of your wages because it's not your fault, we will tell the banks to give you 3 months mortgage holiday because it's not your fault,we will give you 3 months free interest on your credit card because it's not your fault, you will be able to get universal credit and you will get it without waiting 3 days, Well Mr chancellor why have your government stolen 5500 pounds off me by removing my dividend from Lloyd and crashing the share price.Well Mr Chancellor I have news for you its not my Bl--dy fault .This government have made it almost impossible to invest in Banks. As for the argument that the banks were bailed out by the government now it is the banks to return the favour.Actualy it was Lloyd who did the government a favour buying the Halifax. .
I think the next shafting will be if the banks have money in hand when this is all over l do not think the share holders will get any, would bet money on the government will put a levy on the banks. Then future dividends will be reduced but remember it's for the good of the country sorry i meant for the good of the the government. I will never again invest in the stock market again and I will never vote again the government whatever the colour are all in it for themselves.

Lloyds are keeping the 3billon pounds set aside for digital banking to use if they need to so the dividend should still be paid. They have a very good balance sheet. With the government paying 80% of workers wages and the employers putting the other 20% not many people should need a mortgage holiday, and people will not be spending much money on holidays and going out so they will be keeping money in the banks. That's my opinion for what it's worth.
It will be a long time before people with heavy losses forgets CF and what he did and said about the mine he convinced a lot of people to invest. They say jobs will be created in the area that may be true but what is also true is the local economy will suffer because there are so many people in the area that have lost heavily they will not have much disposable income to spend for quite a long time. I have lost 13K but I have only invested 10% of my money I feel so sorry for the people who invested and lost everything . A lot of these people have no experience on investing on the stock market but CF was so convincing they thought they could not lose, l must admit he had me fooled, and some people on here were implying that CF was some financial guru who could not fail well we know different now. I hope that others make an offer so share price rises and people will not lose so heavily.
15 million recently bought. Why would someone buy that amount.
