SD said he has had extensive discussions with Ii’s as he is well known to them from his previous position this has been a key focus of his for the last two months, ( can’t quite remember the exact words he used here), as a result some have taken an initial position.

Now without putting on my tinfoil hat, we know that when II;s want in , they don't chase the price up and will take time to build their position.
In the middle of May the SP was around 20 now it is around 19. I think we will see the SP bob around here for some time until such time the II’s can’t buy, and then the price will increase, Generally they are very patient compared to PI’s, and can take months and even years to accumulate their holding.

Merely corrected with rocket launcher...unusual for a CEO from a corporate background i would suggest.

I did post the other day regarding the SD interview, IMO he was setting out the defence against an unwanted takeover by any party, talking about being good partner to Newcrest, getting II’s on board alongside PI’s and emphasising that there was plenty of ambition to be a stand alone company of merit, included in that is the drive to improve governance and up the public profile. of the company as well as talking about the ‘drill bit’.

IMO he will resist any attempted unwelcome T/O

I have watched this a number of times now and it strikes me that he spent quite bit of the time emphasising that GGP would grow into meaningful , stand along company working alongside Newcrest and perhaps others. Specifiably the things that he spent time on were,
1. The importance of the Newcrest Infrastructure to enabling GGP to get early cash flow.
2. The need to increase the capability within GGP to be able to engage and contribute to the Newcrest effort, rather than in my words, ride off the back of Newcrest.
3. The fact that he has engaged with numerous II’s , as he was plugged into them from his last position. IMO its not just about Cannacord, as part of this he emphasised the importance of II’s as part of the share register as well as the PI community.
4. He referenced his past experience of growing the last company he was with and his wish to repeat that with GGP, and saying that HAV is a fantastic platform to do that from.
5. He said a few times that GGP need to build the capability to enable it to be a ‘good partner’ to Newcrest.

Clearly when he does these interviews there are more audiences than just us PI’s. I think he was emphasising that GGP has big ambitions, that he welcomes II support and engagement, that he see GGP as a genuine partner helping to influence the way forward rather than being passive partner to Newcrest.

In other words a take-over whilst a possibility will be unwelcome. He is IMO a building a case for a future that will reward investors both PI and II , far beyond the next few years.

Sorry , I think he owns 5 million shares right now, through the options. I don't know his personal circumstances, perhaps he can’t afford to buy on market, perhaps he feels he wants to diversify his savings.

I think it can be a vey bad thing for the CEO to have too many shares.

But we all have our won view.

Bamps, I don't expect him to buy any, the share options do it for me, it was another poster i was replying to.

I should have added, that as things got worse and worse , they got more and more panicky and as we know, desperate people do desperate things.. And they did ,one or two ended up in court and faced criminal charges.

I prefer that the CEO has skin in the game through his share options, it is very easy for a director that was no ta founder to become overexposed to the company that they are running. I have seen it in American Companies, and in Uk companies.

During 2008 , i had friends and Colleagues that lost all of their personal savings as well as their jobs, when share prices went to virtually Zero or ended when the employer went bankrupt. They had never diversified, all their share option were held for ever, their salary came from the company and their pension also.

A CEO should be aligned and the share options do that. IMO

Well he was even more upbeat than the last interview, and i though he gave a strong impression that he thinks that the value in the company will grow substantially from here just on the back of HAV never mind any further discoveries.

I got the impression that all drills are still hitting mineralisation as he said that when referring to the current campaign not just what has been reported.

i have to confess to having bought a load more after watching.

I have just rewatched the interview and the bit about keeping the drilling rig on Hav rather than moving it he says,

‘its moving through a , then stops and adds appears into the reply to finally say, ' it Appears to be moving through a good bit of the ore body’’. It's at 3 minutes in.

So my question is , how good does it have to be to keep it on Hav rather than move it? I have no idea , perhaps someone can give a view.

I suspect something is going to happen at around 20p, we are just waiting for it to take place IMO

I think covid and China’s aggression will lead to supply chains being shortened and more work being done in the UK, perhaps CMH can play a small part in that and benefit from on shoring after 30 years of offshoring.

When i saw that TB was finding this and sold BRH, i sold 1/3rd of my holding in BRH and bought here, some at 8 something and some at 10. Wish i had done 50% hindsight!!

Difficult to make up my mind about this, two of the senior people here own a significant holding in MUST and one is a Director, on one hand that means the board here have good view of the opportunity on the other it just makes me a little uneasy.

However the board also have done well on lowering costs and aligning with shareholders, so i will stick with it and see what happens.

This transaction values mobile money at 2.65 billion.

So the rest is about 0.6 billion.

Mobile money revenue last quarter was 34% of total revenue.
