If there is a buyer and there should be, no point buying, if the know there’s a sell off each day right? If they know JB said F you at 21p may as well buy them on the way down? I’m expecting something in the next week or two, can’t carry on like this...
Thanks itissagam/James.
Sounds to me he's trying to oust Rodger by crippling the share price, once that happens he's straight back in to make back the money he's thrown away. Question is what price will it be when that happens?
I actually don't think the claims will be as bad as people think - remember payday companies (that Amigo are being compared to) have had to give compensation on 1200 - 1300% loans, that sort payback would have a crippling affect on any company. Although I'm not aligned with Amigo at least the claims will be within reason and potentially an amount that can be handled. I just think it will go lower before it gets higher.
Yeah true but going long on at 6-7p makes a whole lot more profit than 10-11p. Not saying it's going to dip that low but something weird is going on. JB can't be content with just losing money like this.
Hang on a minute and correct me if I'm wrong but I definitely think this this is going up in the short term but whats going to lift it right now with 1% being dumped everyday?
JB has stated he'd seriously consider reinvesting once Stephan Wilcke and Roger Lovering were out, well Stephan is almost gone which leaves Rodger. If Rodger goes there could be a serious buy back but until then the SP could half from here or am I missing something?
Personally I have no interest in investing here longterm, it's hardly a company moral fibre - charge the financially troubled 49% (minimum) even with a sound guarantee, making them more financially troubled.. fundamentals might still be sound but it's worth noting, if they've delayed the cases they've delayed payments which obviously is helping the bank balance. In the mean time I'll go long and short, hopefully make some more money..
So what actually is in question with this share, the only thing I can think of is the potential bad debts due to the rocky economy. We timed the move to online perfectly and you'd expect the market to realise that future potential. Maybe we're waiting on successful sales clarification and limited bad debts (although the bad debts won't be realised for another couple of months I'm guessing due to the payment holiday). Or maybe we've just had bad luck with bearish FTSE for the last few days.
