I note that from the RNS:

I found this part of the patent application quite interesting where they speculate on other anti-viral applications.

"The nanoparticle dispersion of the present disclosure may also be used to treat clothing. For instance, the nanoparticle dispersion can be sprayed or deposited onto a piece of textile or fabric material. The nanoparticle dispersion may also be used as part of a washing process to protect the textile or fabric material against pathogens including virus, bacteria or parasites."

Imagine a washing powder that makes your clothes anti-viral!

The company has made huge progress. The progress is in scaling their parented nanoparticle production technology to deliver at much larger volumes and consequently lower cost.

The masks were just a sideline, that has now yielded further IP and a JV with Volz to create antiviral HVAC filters, but the main show has always been getting the capacity of the nano particle production facilities up.

Back in 2016 the said this:

Not trying to catch you out. I value your research. Thanks for sharing.

It seemed plausible to me too the other day, we were missing 4 'properties' and there were 4 generation units. It was only with the extra info that I found about the exploration permits/applications that the penny finally dropped for me.

Zen should really list all of them together to give the full picture of everything they have in Italy. Agree with you that they are important assets too.

Interesting to see your further conclusions that there is a large part of the portfolio that may be mothballed and could potentially be brought back into service to increase our output further.

When we discussed this before we concluded the 4 electricity generators were probably the other 4, but a bit of digging in the credit rating and I found this:

"Canoel Italia is specialised in gas and electricity
production in Italy. The group owns 98.64% of
Canoel Italia as it has granted a minority 1.36% stake
to the Director managing the subsidiary Company’s
assets are comprised of six operated and three nonoperated onshore gas production concessions, one
operated and one non-operated exploration permit,
and two exploration permit applications All of the
currently producing gas wells are located onshore in
three concessions of Italy: Torrente Cigno, Misano
Adriatico and San Mauro."

So the 4 look like the exploration permits/applications.

Wondering if the Italian state may start to fast-track through permits now due to the Russian gas problem? All guesswork, but has the market understood the value of these 4's potential in Italy?

This is where our Gas gets made into electricity. If we can get a big new source of gas here do we have the capacity to put it all through our generators for mega electricity revenue?

@MG Sorry I think I caused everyone to get mixed up.

I think HH was replying to my question about the gas and was saying that was the gas price but the electric was much higher.

Those figures RNS'd are for the electric so the overall situation is Zen produce both gas and electric in Italy.

The Electric is at record prices and looks to be making record amounts of money to zen.

The gas price is much lower than the electric price but the volumes we have produced have gone up 10x. (We also have the San't Andrea Well due for reactivation so hopeful this volume will keep going up as they bring more of their mothballed assets back into production with higher prices.)
It looks like gas prices could also go higher (unless there is some drastic Gov intervention or the Ukraine situation magically solves itself)
