Honestly think it would be really smart for them to try to settle and get some of the money in assets, where the assets could over time be worth multiples to Zen, but the cash cost to the Tunisians is minimised at the point of payment.

Then again if they have upset AC sufficiently with their conduct he might just hold out for the full money and the tribunal decision.

The RNS on the August 12, 2024 makes clear that these wells have also been suffering disruption by the hands of the Tunisian state.

Just wondering if the losses incurred here are already included in one of the existing arbitrations?

I get the impression from the tone of the RNS that AC was hoping to keep the operations running and get the oil lift and has perhaps not treated them as a lost cause as yet?

Since the oil lift hasn't been confirmed to us(doesn't mean it didn't happen or is just delayed), and the bit in the interview about the way the Tunisian authorities have treated Zenith during the arbitrations, not paying a penny towards their fees etc... What is the likelihood that the oil lift has been blocked and these wells may result in further arbitrations?

That's just a joke bay the way; I have no knowledge of how much loose change has fallen down the back of their sofa they can draw upon.
