@milnrowmug I can't speak for the vagaries of the SP. I hold lots of stocks the market undervalues. It doesn't seem to be an exact science.

IMO it's positive that AC has bought in that why would he buy if he didn't think the SP would go up, but why he thinks the SP will go up and when are not known.

I assume the acquisition will come before the collection of ICC1 but it could always be that the latter is sooner but timescale was uncertain at the time of the raise.

I'm not making a wider point about it being a long time to get the ICC1 money. I don't know when that will be.

I can't imagine that they would do a placing when the ICC1 money is in collection stage unless the deal is pretty imminent.

Not the RNS I was hoping for. Obviously the dilution and drop in the SP hurts this close to possible award, but then again I've been wanting them to expand in Italy for ages. Seems to have been very profitable long term for the other assets we have there and seem to tick over every year without major issues.

Reserving my judgement till I see what he's buying. AC has a track record of doing deals at a very good price. My hope is that whatever it is doesn't fall through after the raise has been had.
