I don't think it's in the data they get from the exchange. It has to be estimated to show buy or sell based on the midpoint and sometimes the estimate is wrong. That's what I heard anyway.

SC I'm not convinced that Zen need to keep all that money back to build the business; I think what they need to do is act quick, seed fund the acquisition of sites and get them permitted in key locations like Sicily with off the charts solar irradiation values. There is then plenty of loan money sloshing around to fund these solar farms to meet EU clean energy dreams.

If they do keep that much money back it could go on other projects or they could maybe pay more then 50p back in the special divi?

Given the urgency of getting this moving the placing is fine in my opinion and also serves to give some cushion to the share if anything did go wrong with the arbitration(hopefully not). The placings are close to the SP highs and significantly more than I paid so I trust AC to be doing the right thing having them now.

I think the key thing from your estimate is that if they pay 50p special divi, which might not be unreasonable, then on that basis they retain £377m cash which will make the SP quite a bit higher than it is(one would expect). So the overall return to shareholders would be split between the divi and the value of the uplift in the shares as well(if that came to pass).
