Even if you consider business in tunisia high risk, its only high risk of another arbitration, international law has our back. oil and solar should pay for themselves in a few short years. i dont consider that risk automatically unacceptable if the tradeoff is to reduce legal and payment risk.

T he figure of 15p is just 1 bag from the curent sp. im not saying we should settle for that when there is a good chance of more. i just think closing the door to ever doing business with tunisia regardless of any future acts they might agree to is shortsighted and removes leverage to a negotiated settlement.remember in a settlement there is no difficulty getting the money.

There is no doubt in my mind that AC has been very fair and patient with them and has only resorted to legal action due to their intractable actions, but who has been pulling those strings is unknown to me and people in heirachies can be replaced. Im sure AC will consider all viable options and chose the most advantageous to shareholders at the time.

But what I sugest is less risky, not more. It avoids needing an icsid judgement, ok we are favourites to win, but nevertheless it would be good to avoid extra risk if possible. I dont see making up with Tunisia as a real risk since we would continue to be protected by international law. In anycase its a moot point if they just want to fight.

Well maybe if there is too much bad blood still he may do that, but then again what better time to do business with them then after they come to us tail between their legs. Would they try it again with that defeat fresh in their minds, and if they did we could do arbitration again and maybe 10 bag the money again.

Tunisia really need to make peace with ZEN, instead of fighting they could both achieve their goals.

I'm sure they could cut a deal that they pay Zen but a substantial portion is agreed to be invested in Tunisia to further it's solar energy capacity along with permits for such.

It's a win-win for everyone.

What situation? the sp is not a situation. the company is simply doing what they rns'd that they would, develop the platform and launch in summer. they are not even late yet. it's a bit much to expect blow by blow progress whilst vacuum labs are working on it.

I know it's fun to add all this extra on the claim and dream of how huge the payout could be, but I really liked that he also did the opposite(at the same time), agreeing that if the very conservative figure of the most cautious analyst would still be substantially more than the current value of the company.
