RE: AC interview latest on X19 Jun 2025 18:51
This was a fantastic interview from AC. It blew my socks off!
Very confident on ICC2(I'm sure he has said before, but he sounded very very confident here).
Settlement of ICSID would be possible from our side, but it needs the other side to initiate. They had better have a very good offer if they do, but it seems increasingly unlikely to me that they will even try.
Our new shareholder base is pro Green Energy. Still has the rig and the skill set for o&g and doesn't rule out specific projects but this is no longer the strategy.
Investing with the trend where finance is not so restricted as in the O&G sector.
The expected solar amount has gone up again. No expecting to exceed the 20MW of even the previous estimate in Zak Mir interview. Sounds like operationally on Solar we are going gangbusters!
Interested in storage. Arbitrage opportunity to take low price solar and store to time-shift to sell at peak demand. Batteries mentioned previously, but has not said only batteries.
This would make sense if there is a mad rush to solar, there is going to be imbalance of capacity at different times depending on the sun.
He doesn't say what technologies will be used. It sounds like the storage aspect is at a much more nacent stag at present. I expect it will be something simple like lithium ion, but it would be interesting to look at both Vanadium Flow batteries(I'm in Far too lol)
Or is there an opportunity to bring in the other gas fields we have and reposition them to Green Hydrogen storage. Might allow them to get their permits over the line??
There is a UK company doing this, I saw an interview with the CEO a while back and it sounded interesting, but I forget the ticker.
I doubt ZEN have considered this as yet.
The rapid expected progress on the solar in Italy and the potential to generate revenue every year is exciting.
