Interesting SC. Do you know why electric is so much cheaper in spain? Have they already embraced solar and italy is now playing catchup?

I do wonder why they are buying the land rather than renting it? I wonder what the terms are, if they have to pay the lot upfront?

Maybe that's just the way it has to be but if they rented with an option to buy they could get a lot more land secured for little coin and pay to buy it over time.

I assume the ICCI judgement is an asset now on the balance sheet and they can borrow against it even if it's not yet collected?

I like the way this seems to be rapidly scaling up. It's a land grab for this stuff now with Italy and the EU aligned to bring solar production to the region to meet their Green agenda goals.

Sounds like a smart solution to share the land and avoid fighting against a pro agricultural opposition. Also assume since we bought the land we will get an additional diversified income stream from the agriculture on our sites.

If they took the produced oil in storage can they prove they only did so to pump it back into the ground to prevent its co2 going into the atmosphere?

Sorry but am I missing something here but how is climate change relevant here at all? How is it worse for the climate if we operate the licence as opposed to someone else doing so? Have Tunisia ruled to leave all their oil in the ground?

Of course breathing also accounts for large quantities of co2 emissions, its only a matter of time until the legislation catches up.
