In Solo's case they seem to have crashed the car so worthless now just hoping for a good payout on insurance????

I imagine we have didly squat to buy anything apart from a new car each for the bod, unless there is yet another placement. They simply cannot keep doing this to shareholders. I was thinking the other day that if I bought a vintage car for £100,000 and got 9 others to invest in a £10,000 share each we would all have £10,000 worth of car. If I then suddenly, without asking them, put out another 100,000 ahares at 1p and bought them all myself there would be a total of 100,010 shares each worth just under £1 but I would have 100,001 of them, having spent £11,000. The car would be worth the same but I would own almost all of it. To a certain extent I feel that this has happened to me here. Every time they issue cheap placement shares to other people the value of my shares go down and it would appear that I cn do nothing about it.

For what reason I wonder???????

Sorry slight miscalculation of initial amount

Unfortunately it was one of his presentations that made me invest more. At .54p old money (12p today) he said that the company was seriously undervalued and it should soon be over 1p (20p today). Look where we are now.

Not exactly new now and they have had plenty of time to put a more positive view on the future of the compamy - which imho they have failed to do. Still a long way from sure whether or not this will multi bag or go bust. Please bod give us something positive to hang on to.

Just makes you feel sick knowing that NR was paid a hefty 6 figure salary for throwing our money down the pan. Can't believe that the new bod have just had a jumble sale which people seem to be pleased with. What have they actually done in the last 6 months to raise the SP? Oh nothing as it a lot lower now than when they took over.

Some very ambitious predictions for a company that has failed for the last 8. years. I was almost convinced to invest some more what it was stated that a rerating was taking place last week. At least OEX gave me a bit to smile about today and this could happen to Solo. Even then the SP went up 150% then fell down to 70+% so some must have got their fingers burned. Look out for it tomorrow though as it will be much more interesting than Solo.

No, I congratulate you on your timing if this comes good. Must be one of a tiny minority here who is not well down. If I had a few quid to spare that I could afford to lose it might go here because the rewards should be great. However, this company has let it's shareholders down time and time again.

Said this before, the reason I am here is that it is like a lottery ticket. I don't expect anything but if a couple of things go Solo's way it could multi bag. Still would not advise anyone to put good money in here unless you can afford to lose it. There will be plenty of time to make money if all falls into place. Even the ones pushing this hard must have lost a lot of money and are more hopeful than expectant.

Well it surely can't get much lower or we will have more money in the bank than the company is valued at.

I see that once again we get a blue day and people start talking about millions, billions, trillions and zillions ( nice to see cp has kept a level head). If so much was going to happen Solo would have been taken out long ago by a big investor. As yet nothing has been achieved, just a lot of negotiating. NR did this for years and retired a complete failure. Nice to see blue but again I would say to any investor there will be plenty of time to make money when deals are done. At present we hold no sway on anything and are playing with much bigger players who could turn against us very easily. We do not have the cash to wait but others do. Very concerning IMHO. If you have the money to gamble then go ahead but do not put your mortgage on it.

Getting so bored with this I just thought I would have a look back at what was happening last year at this time.
We were offered discount shares at 2.25p (proved to be an excellent discount)
Bought some UKOG shares with everyone saying they would multi bag to at least 10p ( bought them at 1.92p, now worth 1.0p good deal) by the way do we still have any of those shares or were they sold at a loss. I know they were in profit for a short time.
Several were talking about how desperate Tanzania was for gas ( seems not to be the case)
Farm out of Ruvuma - how many million would we get ( still guessing).
The same people pushing the comapany and others giving warnings ( since the price has gon from 2.5p to 1.4p it is easy to see who was right.
The word patience came up several times.
Have we had anything positive at all to show for a years 'progress'

Will have to look back through the chat history but isn't this the same conversation that has been going on for the last 8 years? Always next week, month,soon, imminent. Yet nothing ever happens

Think it was only just over a week ago that someone thought they had a bargain at 405p, when it went to 380p someone else described it as 'cheap as chips'. It is now at 358.5p and it makes me wonder just how long it will be beofre another member of the bod resigns with a multi million pound package for all of his contribution to the 'success of the company'. Hope nobody comments that this is just about Brexit. The performance here is awful.

Whatever the strategy, if it does not increase the share price 5 fold then long term the company has to be considered a disaster. If it will definitely go up 5 fold like some are suggesting, then why hasn't a big boy just bought us out with their pocket money for great reward. Just seems extremely fishy, as it has done for years.

Read it. All very pretty but very little happening. I remember NR producing some nice presentation material on which I based my investments. Turned out to be total garbage. Hope this actually materialises for all our sakes

Possibly down a lot due to the fact that we were up a lot yesterday for no apparent reason apart from trying to catch a few more mugs in here. Just gets worse and worse. Do not put anything in here until things are sorted. That may well be after we have gone under. As for the comment of we need something producing money, we have been saying that for years and it has never happened except for the investors providing money for the bod through ridiculous amounts of placings destroying the comapany and the only way to get anything that is producing would be another placing which would be the final straw. Can someone tell me what exactly is our bod strategy apart from wait until all our money has dried up before putting out another placing?
