Was thinking of buying some at the end of yesterday but thought there would be at least a 20% this morning. Plenty of time to make money here if all goes well. Will hang on a little longer. 1.5p a good buy in?
“The Board of Solo leverages its extensive commercial and technical expertise with a hard focus on monetising its portfolio of investments and delivering value for its shareholders.” Every time I look at the Solo website and read this I think 'You lying ****!!!**'
It is very rare for a placing to benefit the SP of a company so this one at a considerable discount when the momentum was certainly with us just killed it. It will take some turning round now. I bought my last shares just under the placing price thinking that the investors must know something positive and expect a good return. I have yet to see it.
To me it is a sign of desperation not confidence and not good for the shareholders once they take up their options and sell them they will get a lot of Dosh and the market will have more shares , most likely lowering th SP for PIs
Another major disappointment. I can only read this as we need money in the bank to pay our wages whilst we sit and wait for the Tanzanian Govt. to do buggar all. Nice job if you can get it. Money for nothing at the expense of the shareholders who will no doubt see a drop in the sp as more shares are introduced to keep the bod in a life of luxury. Or perhaps I am wrong but someone will have to tell me otherwise.
Can't see the point in removing directors as I can't see anybody wanting to take up their positions unless we get another set looking for a gravy train for a couple of years before moving on having achieved nothing.
No people will think Solo, not buying into that as it is a crap company. Perhaps a name change may be effective to attract those new to investing and think this is a new company with great assets. Very doubtful though.
Just hate it when a company says 'We continue to make progress' as it actually means they have achieved nothing. I wish I had a pound for every pupil report that I wrote saying '******* is continuing to progress towards his/her target' which basically means he/she is failing but you can't say '********* is failing'. Glad I got out of teaching.
Just wonder what has happened on all of the other days over the last few years. My first purchase of these shares was in 2011 at 411p. Only the dividends have given this any credibility and now they have been garotted.
