Hope you enjoy the food I served out this morning. Don't worry, the menu will get bigger over the next few weeks. I have to talk this way as people are watching ;-)
I'm sure several on this board will be upgrading homes, cars, lifestyles in the next week. Congratulations to those who bought in during the depths and have held firm over the years.
@Schnorrer our engineers get snaffled up by lucrative contract rates within government departments in Canberra. It's close to impossible to compete on salary.
Buying at 9 will be seen as a smart move in a few months. Why not make a bit of extra money? Bit of spare money on shares and a few onto the horses never hurt anyone eh?
We are hoping to close by December. Doesn't make a difference at the end of the day whether it's 31 Dec or 1 Jan. But makes the holiday period easier if a deal has been struck
It wasn't one of the great RNS, more so a filler to gap the quiet times until the next financial changing RNS. It wasn't one that Paul wanted to really release
During this firesale, the II's are watching with interest. Low 9's and I suspect we'll see them make a move. They were making enquiries when it was mid 10's on how much they could buy off market. This is a good discount for them.
People freaking out and selling like there is no tomorrow. I'm getting smashed on crypto too. Holding tight on all fronts regardless of how much red there is
The one that will turbo charge a SP movement would be an announcement with one of the big autos like vag. Probably December is the more likely time frame for one of these
Aaroon, the problem they face in Canberra I suspect is because they are competing against government departments for talent who are paying contractor rates for staff. You simply can't match a young developer getting offered 230k by a department
