Posts that don"t age well from less than 12 hours ago "DP If I was involved then I would dump the holding in THR."
As far as i am aware i understand no stocks/warrants now held
Not difficult to find multiple similar cases on AIM where buyback had little to no effect- off the top of my head i cannot name one.
Think it is Norman Gould- Compliance Director- Am told he is very efficient (hope so)
Assume you mean the Nomad?
Not sure if it is just the Nomad reviewing and or if the FCA are involved. I would say that there is a high possibility of the Nomad walking- the problem would then be would a new one be willing to step in (unless Zorbas were to resign- even better would be disqualification)
He will mean either Forward Selling and or holders heard of funding and dumped to buy back in lower
I understand that as a substantial shareholder and links to Alerion that this point should have been highlighted as a related party transaction AND confirmation from the Nomad that the deal was fair etc.
I would expect in the background that there have been many conversations over the past few days between various parties- will see either an EGM being called or Nomad walking. If the latter i do not see a queue of replacements lining the street whilst Zorbas and LH have any involvement.
The profitability will mean zilch if/when the poo hits the fan. I would not be surprised to see the company suspend and or the Nomad walk (although he has a lot to answer for)
Register is checked very frequently by CH
Good evening, Like BigCheese i post very rarely although I am a long term holder. In fact I was at the same lunch meeting as TBCP and can echo everything he has said. I can also assure you that CH will be reviewing the shareholder register on Friday looking for any obvious changes that could account for the sell off- probably not as easy as we would like to think with many held in nominee accounts.
We should also not forget that there may have been (I stress may) a "Beaufort" impact. As suspension of their operation there were approx 33 million MTR shares being held.
As Mr Cheese has stated there have been at least 2 funds approach them with offers of funding- whether these were to assist in a short position closing we may never know- At least one was not UK based.
I remain confident and more so after meeting both CH and MMc. The latter is an old head on young shoulders and i can assure you he is an ideal person to represent MTR on the board of MOD- he also has a very strong ally on there.
Probably the last you will hear from me for a while but i am convinced this will be worth the wait. Have a great Xmas and superb New Year.
PS Mr Cheese will not know who I am from this post but i can prove to him my presence- Silverware was good which is more than i can say about the painting to your left :-)
The equation of £55m for Order Book less debt is wrong. Order book is gross value. You can only assume the margin achievable on the £55m less debt.
Apologies if I have missed it but there was talk of a link to the GCAT website- Can someone re-post or direct me to it please. Thanks
So who is contacting you with the offer? .65 or .7?
We can easily be suspended for the full 6 months or close to. There is only so much works behind the scenes permitted before having to announce. If you are looking for weeks I think you will be disappointed. No idea what the price will be on re-list- depends on the detail and what any funding/raising is completed at
They would not be permitted to release info not known to the market so no surprises today but confident of deal being announced shortly. 4 million buy looks like a 2m rollover to me- could be wrong
No one can answer your question yet. If they complete an RTO there maybe placings/finance involved and it depends at what price and the details behind it. Note that this assumes they get the listing. Being on the main market does give them longer to complete the RTO (I have one that has been suspended for 17 months now!!!)
