Nobody disagrees with you but there's no point in ranting. They can no longer go to the Institutional investors so we shall see what will happen, its going to be a bumpy ride
Cash position as of Feb 2018 $10.3, May 30 2018 $7.5 We are still losing in cash $1million/mth. Now entering the quite months!!!
No surprise we will have to see what other surprises are in the final results
Looks like a buy could be something is happening
Already later than last year
Flying to Harare back again
Saturday looks like we have two planes operational early flights to JRO and MZA we shall see if it gets changed during the day also there is the harare flight through the night
I think considering we have three new airplanes on the sidelines an update from head office is required before the AGM
Kigoma has been removed as a destination from the Fastjet website So much for African open sky! Impossible for Fastjet to expand it's routes in Tanzania they have to focus on other African countries for expansion The problem being that they expanded the fleet believing they would have fair access to other Tanzania destinations in June
We have 3 flights today to MZA so nearly normal on our main route We certainly have to look outside Tanzania for expansion while the present Government continues its protectionist policy
Air Tanzania is being financed by the Government ,it's their vanity project and Fastjet are the opposition.Really good old fashion socialism from a distant past they are displaying. The money spent on new planes should have gone on education etc

Can we increase our presence between HRE and JNB by more rotations or a bigger plane than the ER5
I think overall it is a significant increase in the number of flights operated per week by Fastjet and Kigoma seems to be still scheduled to start at the beginning of July
Fjetcrazy Friday and Sunday there are double flights to Mbeya and the rest of the week one flight only
Not quite fair Fatherelmer they have executed most of their stabilization plan 1.New fleet 2.Moved the operation away from Gatwick 3. Removed the loss making routes I think execution seems a lot better than the living in hope style of ED's team What we need is some expansion new routes in Tanzania, Bulawayo route in Zimbabwe and and further expansion in Mozambique. The unknown is are we now at a break even cash flow position
I think this type of thing should be stopped. There is too much work to do to make this airline profitable leaving speaking rolls at seminars to the CEO of bigger airlines Of course they are too busy and Fastjet have time on their hands
I can only imagine one will be used for new routes in Tanzania The other two to replace two of the ER5s which will give us more capacity
The last RNS provided some financial info certainly the cash situation was not good With cash locked up i Zimbabwie
would increase the pax numbers by about 40% if they can fill the planes
