So having returned from Sicily, which by the way is simply stunning, and having swapped my shorts for central heating, today has been research day, scouring the internet for snippets. Here is what I have concluded (taken from a variety of sources):
The recently secured mining right de-risks the project significantly, making it much more attractive to large mining companies and global nickel consumers seeking exposure to secure, long-term nickel supply.
We have already received institutional investment to accelerate exploration and resource upgrades. This may suggest there is active interest from the financial sector in partnering for the next stage.
South African mining projects are increasingly engaging with battery manufacturers, electric vehicle supply chain companies, and stainless steel producers looking to secure regional supply, which could be relevant for Zeb Nickel as resource estimates are upgraded over the coming months.
Large-scale sulphide deposits in the Bushveld Complex tend to attract both global majors (such as Anglo American, Glencore, and Sibanye-Stillwater) as well as Asian smelting and trading groups interested in strategic nickel sourcing.
Updated high-grade assay results is intended to position the project for engagement with tier-1 partners as the market recovers from recent nickel price weakness.
Money has been secured for upcoming progress. Still
less than 100m shares in issue. Vast majority tightly held. My share of 2025 so far and I expect it to be my share of 2026.
