If you only bought one at that price you should be fine :)
I have some carers in my family and it is truly shocking what they earn. Some do it because the hours fit around kids but even then it's hard work.
Some of these old peeps are heavy and lifeless, so there is a lot of heaving involved and also the abuse the carers can suffer. Should be an acceptable wage thats for sure.
You would be the settlor or donor of the trust. You would then be a potential beneficiary at the discretion of of the trustees. So its all above board and within the rules.
Even if you didn't put your bond in trust its exempt as it's considered an insurance backed investment because it typically has a death benefit of 100.01% of it's value. So the LA can do one. I have peeps in quality care homes around the south east all fully funded. Whilst the the person is sitting on bonds worth ££££££. Not the best IHT strategy though. I am available for advice in that department if needed. :)
You should Work your way through the STEP course worth a few grand to get the knowledge on trusts though.
I protect peeps cash from means testing and have been doing it for 20 years and in all that time only three trusts have been challenged by the local authority, and each time the local authority has lost.
So yep they work if you have the right trust set up in the right way.
Thats why you have experts :)
Hi folks,
There will be no tax changes to ISA's as it considered a long term care savings plan for the foolish. 1st thing that goes on the assessment.
Whereas smart Peeps use the ISA to build up funds using the tax breaks then when you hit older age you move them into open architecture bonds. Keeping the funds nice and safe from local authority means testing. Beauty of it if it's in a trust your trustees can top up your care funding so you can see out your days in the Ritz at a massive discount.
That's the strategy if care future care fees is a worry anyhow.
Happy Days :)
That's what I am going to do.
Spread is a bit out of order though. But for the sake of future profits, I am in. gla
I bought into a bitcoin tracker several years back because of "fomo". Lost about 40% of it's value quite quickly. But stuck to my guns and now I am 20% up.
That was gambling on something I still don't understand. I understand money though. And there is money in the ground here and which has a value. And the value is significantly higher then what the current sp would have you believe. So a little patience is needed.
I don't understand why peeps would sell out here to chase 5% 10% gains elsewhere when we are sitting on a rocket. And once the ignition sequence start those not on board will kick themselves.
Anyway gla.
Keep the faith :)
Had a small top up here earlier as I think between this and HZM I am going to do well. They will either both go big time or one will and the other will still produce a great return. Hopefully both big time :)
Been driving around in a Tesla all week and it's definitely the future. And the boot is massive lol
Hi folks,
A work colleague of mine has just bought a few year old Tesla. It looks the nuts and has an incredibly massive boot.
But the amusing thing is he left it charging over night and when he checked this morning it had gained 14 miles of range. lol
Anyway made me think of the desperate need for a mega range battery.
I am an IFA with DFM/Securities permissions and in my experience with the AIM. I think that the the buyers are there a lot of the time, but the platform you are trying to sell from limits your order to force you into more trades. So instead of making £10.00 for a million trade they force you to make 10 trades at 100,000 so they can make £100.00. And they make the same again on the other side. Easy money for the traders if my suspicions are true.
It's a good tactic. But one that cost me with Plus500 shares. Shouldn't have sold some of my holdings.
This share is different though. As we know what kind of assets we have, we know the price of these assets on the market and we also know there is a massive interest out there for these assets.
I have been sitting on these shares for a long time and am laughing that my average is around 2.2p. I going to keep the babies until at least 35p per share. Then I will probably start calving them.
That's just me though.
