I must say the Steves are very quiet today ! That nasty Dr. Lao must have upset them.
Stevescott101 - I take it Moulding will not be on your Christmas card list this year. Maybe you should put yourself up for the job ?
Hosia - the sound voice of reason as always.
All eyes on Shortracker. Let the fun begin !
Great post(s) this morning Oak ( as always ). For me the time to get excited is when Marshall Wace start reducing their short position. I can't help but feel that this crowd has been encouraging some of the negative narrative in the media through Paul Marshall's contacts. If/when they decide to go long, then as night follows day you can bet the media narrative will turn positive and a strong rerate in the SP will occur. The sooner the better for majority on this board.
HH, Showsnowman, Hosia & Pearls - wise words as always. Sad to see a good board descend into a slanging match this afternoon. Best not rise to the bait....
Also quite handy that Paul Marshall has a stake in GB News and all its media contacts....
This constant negative narrative being peddled by the media is now getting beyond a joke ! It surely just has to be a matter of time before Moulding and Allen say enough is enough and it gets taken back private.
Its a very positive "snowflake analysis" on their website -

Here's looking forward to some good news soon. GLA LTH's
Petrobert - Good God man make your mind up - it's just over 7 days since you were telling us all to Stay Short :)
I don't think we have to wait much longer before we will see a strong surge in the SP -

Good Luck all LTH's
Forgot to add Alibaba buying us, Ingenuity landing a whale and Nutrition being sold - its all too much for me to take in in one day :)
Its all very intriguing as Tom Basso is a well known American Fund Manager and WK Capital are a Swiss based investment company. Maybe the tweet has a little more cred than first thought. Who knows...
Quelle Surpise its a negative narrative towards THG.....
Moniman - Franknez is a very interesting read. Its very easy to see why where we are right now with the SP thanks to the efforts of the Hedge Fund shorters exploiting loopholes in the system aided and abetted by their friends in the media. Motley Fool gets a mention and they have certainly been posting negative articles about THG and advising retail investors to avoid THG. As a committed LTH it pains me to say I have to concur with all of Ste2000 posts yesterday. The shorts have a firm grip on the current SP and show no fear nor signs of retreating. I think if we get a positive TU and a consequent rise in the SP this will be walked back down by the shorts. Its all well and good having positive tailwinds here and there but until the BOD outline to the market a roadmap to profitability and more importantly start delivering the numbers the shorts will stay in control. I hope that I am wrong but I have a feeling it could to be sometime before we see a triple digit SP. Our only hope short term is that MM says enough is enough and goes down the MBO route.....
They just cant help themselves when it comes to THG. This latest one is from the Guardian this afternoon. -

Unfortunately short and distort remains the order of the day for some....
Some great post today @crafty.
Shock news in the Daily Mail this morning - Marshall Wace partners receive record pay outs of £720m following bumper year :)
I wonder how much our their shorting of THG has contributed towards this pay out. As Licker says who would want to IPO in the City anymore with this going on...

As MTucker and others on here have saidmany times, patience is the key here. All the ducks are lining quite nicely so I do think the share price will continue to rise in an orderly fashion with a positive news flow. The techinicals for the share price are pretty solid right now -

Good luck all LTH's. Onwards and Upwards we go....
Coldspy - don't worry as I am in no rush to leave as my average is £1.00 :). Its been a solid few weeks but there is still a long way to go for us long suffering LTH's to start seeing blue again. As an aside I have been checking in on Barchart and ever since June its been a 100% sell rating for THG. This has reduced significantly over the past couple weeks to a current rating of 24% sell -

Good luck all LTH's. Hopefully onwards and upwards to all that have kept the faith through challenging times...
