A question for the BB - re the bank selected & possible bonds - referring to Navitas or RKH or both ?

Thanks Rookie - I hope someone at friday's AGM will pose the question ( more diplomatically than me ) " wtf is he on our board for ? "

To reinforce the point I made in an earlier post - by becoming a director of BOR he has exposed himself to some kind of Argentine blacklisting & by default his current company also. Therefore, having risked that, I think they ( his company ) are going to get involved in the Falklands .

"Companies (bad boys) numerated in the Argentine list are : Falkland Oil And Gas Limited; Rockhopper Exploration PLC.; Borders and Southern Petroleum PLC.; Argos Resources LTD.; Desire Petroleum PLC.; Premier Oil PLC.; Noble Energy Falklands Limited; Noble Energy INC.; Edison International SPA. and Navitas Petroleum LP." By joining the BOR board Mr Guest has " crossed the Rubicon. " To use another metaphor - " You might as well be hanged for a sheep as a lamb. " - and get Valeura involved in the Falklands.

"Dr. Guest is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Valeura Energy Inc. an upstream oil and gas company with operations in Thailand and Turkey, listed on the TSX."

Pardon my ignorance - does that mean he is still in that post & on BOR's board ?

If so - yippee ! Anyway, bought another 171,000 shares today. ATB LSS ( long-suffering shareholders ).

HI value_seeker - I had an email from my stockbrokers ( interactive investor) with a link to voting at the Agm - June 28th. Like you I hadn't seen an official announcement.

I can't wait for a return in 20 years time - I intend to start nibbling ( sorry -technical term there ) at my shares in the next few years .

Just got a voting email from II - for AGM on Friday 28th June.

I know nothing about the oil industry - just hoping to make money on RKH.

So can somebody answer the following :

1. RKH appear to be idling in the back seat with Navitas doing all the planning.

2. A leased FPSO does the actual work,

Why do they need another oil firm ? - apart from contributing funds & sharing the risk .

1st pararagraph last line - I presume that's FEED not FID.

I stand corrected Gus0. So a Labour victory could prove positive as oil firms turn their eyes away from the North Sea & look to the far south !

The prospect of a Labour victory & possible negative consequences for BOR might speed up this seemingly stalled process - which would be a relief to all of us.
