There's bound to be a 'White Knight' or two lurking in the wings probably awaiting further evidence the business has stabilised etc (due diligence and all that) before making a realistic offer!

I would be more inclined to buy at these artificially low prices,though in my case, I have to adhere to my previously stated disciplined practice of investing a lump sum every 3 months (regardless of SP) .

Liberum recommendations/TP's are incredible (in the pejorative sense)!!!

Irv shorts would need to increase by about 60% to be on a par with Carillion's shorts so I'm not panicking about it. Results in line with expectations and brokers reiterating buy and/or increasing TP's. The recovery is in it's embryonic stages and the SP will be much higher in less than 9mnths IMO.

Far from smug (ignorant) comments of collapse in SP, it's increased c10% from opening panicky lows and could even close in blue today. No need for anyone to break silence: it's pretty much 'as you were'. Results were In line with expectations.

Great set of results! The BOD are doing an excellent job. Share buy-back makes perfect sense. Some complain it was > £10 once but forget to mention it was also as low as 163p. Okay it may have flatlined for a while but I believe the full benefits of the company transition will eventually filter through, and historical highs will be within sight ,possibly surpassed in 3-4 years. Meanwhile, There are juicy and increasing dividends to enjoy!

I read it as a massive vote of confidence for IRV given that they are on the government's 'on watch' list. This is a 5 year contract after all (potentially 7 years).

This is much more than a 'bread and butter' contract. IRV are/were on the government's 'watch' list. This award of contract from the FCO Is a massive vote of confidence. The future looks very promising IMHO.
