With respect, that is an uninteresting answer to an uninteresting question! For a start, nobody agreed a financial package with CLLN precipitating it's collapse. IRV, by comparison, successfully negotiated a three year loan agreement which will facilitate it's F4G turnaround plan and subsequent Recovery. Honestly, some of the Shorters posts on here are becoming increasingly insipid and wearisome.

Results were in line with expectations.Recovery plan on track. These shares have enormous Upside IMV. One or two positive announcements should see them fly!

Meta's full time occupation does seem to be trawling all media feeds for interserve stories CJ62. He then filters them in order to post the small percentage of negative stories that suit his biased agenda!! Even then they are often distorted and quoted out of context IMO ! For example, regarding Berwick Street, he 'forgot' to mention that the client upgraded the power requirements for the building at the eleventh hour! Not much insight there then!

I suspect contracts would contain numerous clauses etc to 'legislate' for such circumstances such as an increase in 'Living Wage' . Future contracts too would be tendered taking into account current costs,again with clauses etc to protect against 'goalposts being moved'. After all, IRV is a PLC not a registered charity! IMHO.

IRV are not in a financial position to embark on any new PFI contract even if they were available, given the amount of up-front Capital that would be required to set one up. It now suits IRV perfectly to pursue standard low risk contracts. Remember the whole point of PFI's, from a government point of view, was to 'transfer risk from the public to the private sector'. The scrapping of PFI's is a very good thing for IRV since other companies (in a stronger financial position) could have been in a position to bid for them whilst IRV could'nt. The company can now of course tender for contracts from a level playing field,so the budget announcement is a blessing in disguise in reality. I see it as a very positive development from IRV's POV.

Just as well IRV are not in the market for PFI's then. You are right the chancellor won't be writing a 'check' for 20bn quid for IRV. Considerable cheques (I think you were trying to say) are very likely to find their way into IRV's coffers for normal contracts though.

£20bn EXTRA for the NHS to acquire services and facilities actually. £30bn EXTRA for the Highways Agency too. Yum yum!

Thanks for that upbeat summary Aendjo after all the (mostly unwarranted) negativity this week. I'm sure the situation will improve though I can understand the frustration that was manifested by some of the usually more positive holders this week. The usual de-rampers are also having a field day lately at our expense,as is their wont. Most holders are invested here as they believe in the recovery story here. So the sub 50p SP is not that important. As the CEO has previously stated, the Share Price will take care of itself. What is important is that the plan is delivered , of which I'm sure there is a very strong likelihood of that happening! This is not the time to go wobbly IMV! GLA Holders!

All the large funds on Shorttracker are reducing their short positions. Down yet again tonight to 5.59%.

Don't think IRV need to go into panic mode regarding that. They have secured all the funding they need up to the year 2021.

That's a bit unfair meta... . Even Shorters are continuing to close positions. Further decrease to 5.86% tonight. They recognize it is massively oversold and due a retrace to more sensible levels of, I suggest, 150-175 ish.

Relax! Shares of Interserve have been given a consensus rating of 'Buy' by the six brokerages that are presently covering the firm,market.com reports. Peel hunt have a TP of 140p.

On just a hint of good news from Brexit talks, the SP swung sharply up at the bell by circa 7%. The uncertainty has caused a lot of damage to the SP over the last year or so. When a deal is actually ratified I suspect it will shortly be knocking on the door of £1 per share and stabilise around there pending further progress on F4G.

Most of us have gone long from over £1 and averaged down all the way down to these low levels. With large holdings now at reasonable costs/per share, IMO we are Sitting Pretty for fantastic gains when the recovery happens. Even the partial recovery will effect extremely lucrative profits for many!
