It will make a difference though when there's a shareholder revolt and these no-hopers are ignominiously dumped. No doubt there are institutional machinations behind the scenes right now! It is imperative that Aviva is led by experienced directors of quality and of whom have at least a certain amount of gumption!

There's only 30pence or so difference between Aviva and L&G now. Throw in their Dividend and it's virtually neck and neck. Aviva's SP was over £2 more than L&G not so long ago! Surely heads should roll for the misdirection of Blue Chip Aviva and the sooner the better imo!

And to rub salt into our wounds, L&G (who of course are honouring their declared dividend), see a rise today of approx 3X Aviva. Nice to see the largesse of the board redirect, some of the formerly declared dividend, to worthwhile charitable causes though. How sweet of them!

It would appear that the appointment of this CEO has been an unmitigated disaster for shareholders of Aviva. Something needs to happen to rectify the disgraceful lack of integrity at the top,and the sooner the better imv!

To be even fairer, Legal&General were put under exactly the same 'duress' but did not stitch up their shareholders. Putting it kindly,this Aviva CEO simply does not 'cut the mustard'.

I'm very confused too. How on Earth is this 'Blue Chip' giant of the insurance sector only worth HALF of what it was worth two years ago? Yet the Directors have raked in many £millions for their collective 'expertise'. It's not all down to Covid-19. On top of that, shareholders appear to have been deceived regarding dividend payments etc whilst Directors seem to have benefitted from Inside Knowledge and sold large amounts of shares shortly prior to dropping the 'Bombshell' of the divi cancellation!

We live in hope now, that's all imo, but how can anybody believe or trust anything these shysters say anymore. Any integrity they may have once possessed has been completely and utterly trashed after the recent shenanigans.

They will not be paying any dividends 'Before' the end of this year according to the statement on the Hargreaves Lansdown platform. I read that as the next Interim Dividend is now 'Down the Swanee' too!

Shareholders led on to believe declared dividend is safe; large sell-offs of shares by directors for "Tax Reasons" , suggests divi cancellations were known and acted on by 'Inside Information'. If that were the facts of the matter, it is tantamount to THEFT! in my book.

Nobody is blaming the BOD for C-19. But blame should be given to them for leading investors to believe the declared dividend was safe. Only a week or so ago, many directors sold large chunks of shares declaring that they were sold for 'Tax Reasons'. Hmmm! Maybe I was born yesterday! Maybe all shareholders have been well and truly STITCHED UP!

Double bottom formation is now developing. Could be the start of a good run IMO.

He's awaiting the formation of the Double Bottom before confirming the dividend, to help kick-start the inevitable bull run. Would like the divi now myself to vacuum up Aviva shares at bargain basement prices!

It seems there was some sort of moral leverage used to intimidate the banks following the financial bailout of 2008 (I get that!). In a liberal democracy, no other private business should kow-tow to the bully-boy tactics of this putinesque government's henchmen IMV. Or is this the end of free-market capitalism?
