Per shorttracker, there are still no open short positions for Capita plc. If Friday's Interims were as dire as the de-rampers infesting this board would like to believe, there ought to have been a plethora of short positions opened by now. There's no evidence of that AimMasterbater2018. Surely you're not blind to that!

Cevian Capital felt £8 per share was achievable and that was pre-consolidation. Presumably, they are now targeting £10/sh.

I'd be disappointed with a 7.3p divi. Am anticipating an Interim dividend announcement of 10.5 to 12p/sh.
(and I'm referring to Aviva plc!)

They've got a TP of 520 for Aviva. Also, Barclays re-iterated 530 TP just today for Aviva, so they don't seem nervous robleo. It's good to know Cevian capital are breathing down their necks too. Of course though admittedly I share a little apprehension but can't imagine the results will dire like DLG or Sabre plc, both of whom are seemingly one trick ponies imv.

DLG, unlike Aviva,are a pure insurance play though.

Well, I,m a glass half-full person. Intangible assets have no intrinsic value. Under the circumstances (turnaround), it was a very astute piece of accounting saving many £millions in tax. Such intangibles can be restored when CPI is on a better footing. Rejoice! Rejoice!

Fantastic Interim Results and great adjusted underlying profits!
And what a masterstroke to juxtapose those profits with massive writedowns of Goodwill and other intangibles!
CPI have therefore avoided paying many £millions in Corporation Tax and all above board.

Frankly, the interims on Friday demonstrated progress if the wheat is sorted from the chaff. Only one or two members of the media have chosen to sensationalise the negative aspects of the headline figures without any meaningful analysis of the underlying progress of the turnaround. If things really were so dire, why wouldn't there be a huge amount of shorting going on .I see no evidence of that on 'shorttracker.co.uk'. In fact, nobody is shorting CPI >0.5%.
On enterprise value alone the SP should be 60p at least.
Like the CEO, I reckon once Mr Market wakes up, 97p minimum will be forthcoming.

Of Seven Analysts covering Capita, There are 2 Strong Buys, 2 Buys, 2 Hold and only 1sell recommendation. The latest update was today following the Interim results from Shore Capital which encouragingly Reiterates Hold. All in all, the results are okay and in line with expectations.
