You are correct Pandy2 as Aviva SP is not at all lower than earlier in the year. It appears so looking at Google's charts and many others who have FAILED to adjust the pre-consolidation graph to synchronise the SP with the post-consolidation SP. The p/e, yield etc also have dramatically improved since post-consolidation and any long -term holders who re-invested their 102p distribution in Aviva will be far better off imo. It's a shame these big organisations fail to re-adjust the sp graph as it causes potential investors to compare apples with pears!

Large and prescient double-bottom formation developing on the chart. I reckon we'll likely enjoy a sweet re-rating over the coming six months or so.

£5 won't do for me robleo. There are many tailwinds that I reckon will drive this to at least £6 in due course. Bulkamania,more free cash flow, faster and greater dividend increases, share buybacks, relaxation of solvency2, Cevian capital on board,director purchases, cost savings, etc.,and not to mention potential takeover of the slimmed down Aviva by a company looking for scaleability savings. Cevian could yet prove correct in there desire for £8 per share.

RBC raises Aviva price target to 520p-Outperform. They also expect future dividend increases to be significantly fatter than forecasts due to 'BULKAMANIA'.

Q3 Trading Update 9th November. Should be another boost in cash flow given the continuing Interest rate increases. Sooner or later, the Market is gonna wake up to the value here i reckon!

Realistically, forward EBITDA is going to slump given all the current headwinds, and therefore dividends, I fear, could be slashed or potentially suspended indefinitely. Am gutted really as not long ago I convinced my wife to invest in Persimmon in her ISA at £15.42p telling her they are a bargain. Things have obviously gone pear-shaped since then thanks to the new Caninets' naive fiscal policies damaging the economy further.

Unless this incompetent charade of a government does a major U-turn and desists from gambling with the economy, then Paddyboy1's forecast will,alas, inevitably become a reality. Apologies in advance for any grammatical or syntax errors etc.

Saga is 'highly speculative' and a 'value trap' according to Stockopedia Maestros. If you do fancy a gamble when it falls below 80p, I would suggest you don't risk too much of your kids inheritance as Theo Pathitis would say!

Thought about investing here recently when the SP was over £1.50 thinking it must be a bargain. Was put off after checking with my newly acquired Stockopedia App only to find that Saga PLC was defined as a 'Value Trap', thus a likely loser. Thanks to that information, have already saved the annual subscription fee many times over!

Aviva is performing relatively strongly despite all the doom and gloom. With many forecasting Interest Rates of at least 6% shortly, we're nicely poised here for a large increase in the SP. Holders here can't have forgotten how much AV. benefitted in the last 6 months figures mainly as a result of increased interest rates and that was only at an average level of 0.5%. This has been in the doldrums for at least 15 years or so owing to historically low interest rates during that time.Now the tide is finally turning and we should ride the waves imv!

Dividend yield of a huge 18.5%
Appears to be a no brainer to get involved here.

I feel sure the dividend is going to be slashed though by at least two thirds if the historic form of the Financial Director recently appointed from Aviva is anything to go by!(If not completely pulled).
Looks like the overpriced housing market will see a massive correction spurred on by unaffordable,and rising,interest rates.
Don't get me wrong as I see a long-term opportunity here in due course but things will inevitably get worse before they get better so wiser to wait than try to catch the falling knife.
Thanks to the amateurish economic policies of this new government leadership,patient investors will reap their rewards by holding off of Housebuilding companies for a while. Persimmon has a considerable way to fall yet. This is definitely on my Watchlist. Expecting to pile in at circa £8 a share after interest rates peak and inflation begins to fall in a year or so thus potentially securing a three bagger in the future up cycle.

Any TO bid by PE would need to be extremely lucrative before Shareholders even contemplate accepting an offer.

Wasn't that long ago that Investors Chronicle issued a Buy tip at 372p suggesting it was a good entry point! Since then it's more than halved in value to 180p. However,given it's still on a P/E of about 20 and discretionary spending is about to be dramatically slashed given the economic climate, I expect the SP to halve again to 90p fairly shortly. It could even go as low as 50p in due course IMV.

Capita is generating more positive vibes from Stockopedia lately. In the last two months or so, the Style rating has evolved from 'Value Trap' through 'Neutral' to it's current status of 'Turnaround' which is considered to be a Buy signal. On that basis, I shall be building up my holding shortly in anticipation of an advancing SP,( as soon as funds become available).
