On searching the level of 'Short' interest on Shorttracker, it's pleasantly reassuring to note that there is a mere 0.5% of open Short positions for Capita Plc compared to between 6-8% a couple of years ago.

Incremental purchases every couple of months over the last 12 months leaves me sitting on 95,000 shares at an average of 28.3p. Am underwater but will patiently continue in the same vein for the next couple of years whatever the price of Cpi shares go to. That is my patient strategy that I intend to adhere to come rain or shine. Good luck to all who keep the faith!

Well I'm not sure it will rocket in the short term philorkil but it's definitely due a re-rating. Such was already occurring recently but for the unfortunately damaging cyber attack. I reckon this would have been knocking on 60p already. In my book, these incidents ought to be treated as acts of war and at the very least, the West needs to retaliate in kind.

Bluedakota, you can only lose money if you sell and crystallise any losses. Looking at yesterday's price movements suggest to me that the SP (Like the underlying business itself), is at an inflection point and about to rapidly improve. I reckon this presents a wonderful opportunity to average down for someone in your situation and position yourself for a potential 6-bagger (medium-term!).

But only the other day you were making hay about the RNS of a £50million contract, claiming they must be desparate to announce such a small contract win with the City of London police! You seem to want to have your cake and eat it.

You should count yourself lucky Niaz. Holders of the likes of Carillon and Interserve etc were wiped out as the outsourcing sector went belly-up. CPI However managed to restructure the business and eliminate debt. I feel you will probably be kicking yourself in a year or two as Capita reaps the rewards of the ongoing Turnaround. There's no reason why,imv, we can't witness an SP of £1.75p-£2 now that àll the hard work has been done.

As for the £55m contract with City of London police force being insignificant I'd disagree. Given the police after due diligence have awarded CPI the Anti-fraud services contract, It is a massive vote of confidence in the integrity of Capita PLC so therefore only right it was RNS'd to demonstrate and signal to a wide audience that Cpi is a quality company to do business with. It seems AimMaster that you know the cost of everything but the VALUE of nothing. I'd stay long if I were you!
