I agree 100% with your sentiments regarding the futility of attempting to catch the bottom. Cpi is way oversold already due in part to panicking lemmings and thoughtless algorithms randomly triggering stop-losses. I shall happily remain on this bus despite encountering the odd pothole. This is to be expected with a RECOVERY SHARE.

Incidentally, I take note that today Stockopedia have moved their category for Cpi Plc from NEUTRAL to TURNAROUND (Which indicates BUY).

Only wish this bus would provide seat belts!

The future looks bright with a bidding pipeline measured in £billions.

Am glad I have no automatic stop losses on this but will continue on the path of regular top-ups at regular intervals to smooth out these unfathomable blips.

Quite correct AlfredoJr. Chucking in the towel now and behaving like lemmings is totally irrational given the potential £billions contracts in the pipeline. I guess most of the sales have been automatically triggered by pre-set stop-losses and the concomitant snowball effect.

Opportunities are opening up for many waiting in the wings for things to settle down imv.

Excessive pessimism and knee-jerk reactions feeding off each other here imo. The results are positive overall but many seem hacked off due to no imminent dividend. Am happy that having been successfully saved from the brink of bankruptcy and transformed into a viable and streamlined company for future growth, the board are being prudent in deferring the implementation of divis for a couple of years. Once the dust settles though and more rational assessments are made, the SP will recover to a realistic level imo.

In addition, the dividend is well covered and sustainable, ergo, I'm sitting tight here at least until such time as the SP begins to reflect fair value. Gla holders!

The forward dividend yield here is an incredible 9.34%. Even at £5.50p/share Aviva would still be yielding a very decent dividend, viz 6%.
