EHHHHHHH improved ???? they DEFAULTED on ALL their depts and royalties, and production is only just moving up slightly from off rock bottom.

The dept pile is MOUNTING by the day, they are controlled by their creditors and their creditors will want their pound of flesh AND SOME !!!

If they could not bank funds during the 12 month grace period (clear because they had almost nowt in the bank at the end of that period), and they covered items like the Booster compressor etc from the Trafigura funds they received at the start of that grace period (as STATED in the RNS) then just how much production uplift do you think they gonna need today to pay debtors, royalties etc, cover Opex, over new Capex, AND have a few quid left over to actually BANK ??

The answer is they would almost need to double production and prices need to hold over 100p to have half a chance of some retail upside, anything less means they are drowning in their own pish !!!

Agree, better than nothing, but as Brockham produces via submersible pump, it means they have simply managed to flow for slightly longer periods between pump shut down and restart, basically Brockham is covering its costs and eventual P&A & restoration costs at this time, and not much else after you take out transport costs and field opex.

You are all jumping on positive numbers CREATED by declining and poor performance numbers in the prior Quarter, the ONLY bonus is this little window of higher gas prices, which is almost certain to fall off pretty quick due to the influences that drive it.

SO overall the RNS is just a pump fest by the shower running this outfit, for folk like yourself to hang on to every Faux pas generated lol....

Odd that they also failed to mention unpaid 8% royalties, and other outstanding debt like Mr Forest etc,,, these alone will be stacking up to a big chunk of change, BUT what I expect will happen is IF and its a BIG IF, they do come out of suspension, then they will settle ALL of them with confetti, simply pass it on to us !! as done every time before...

Ahhh yon expert Jamesyboy !!! the booster compressor will "ONLY" provide longer term productivity IF they combine it with velocity strings, and not just a short term flushing out, lower production pressure MEANS increased induced liquids, that WILL kill free gas production, as it was doing prior to this flushout workover.

Exactly, it was not enough to pay ANY bills before, and they had almost nothing in the bank after a 12 month VERY generous Grace period.

Add to that, the numbers "may" well show as up on the previous Q, but it is hardly earth shattering either, simply a bad Quarter followed by less downtime and slightly better production Quarter is what it is, and pinning hopes on gas prices that are irrational to save the day is not the long term saviour of SLBY, great, enjoy the uplift in prices "while they last" but don't rely on them as projection !!

It already seems to resemble the Mary Celeste, but it will all come good according to the chair whisperer and his insta buddies, production will double, gas will hit over 100p and remain there for the next year or more, Trafi will not penalise them for DEFAULTING, AND they will increase the loan a further £10m, and extend the repayment period to 10 years, which is approx more than double the remaining life of SLBY as a production site.

Ohhh and the 8% royalties are apparently written off, along with Forest happy to sit quietly and not demand the remaining payment.
