Personal reasons could be anything from health to matrimony. I ain't going to speculate.

Update on Court Process in The Bahamas
Further to BPC's recent announcements in relation to the Court process in The Bahamas, on 22 January 2021 The Honourable Justice Petra Hanna-Adderley provided her ruling on the subject of BPC being added as a primary respondent to the application brought by environmental groups against the Government of The Bahamas, seeking a judicial review of various decisions taken by the Government in relation to BPC's licences and the drilling of the Perseverance #1 well.
In summary, the Honourable Justice Petra Hanna-Adderley has exercised her discretion to add BPC as a respondent to the application. Consequent on this, BPC is entitled to request that the applicants provide security for costs, for which purpose a hearing has been scheduled for 17 February 2021.
At the same time, the Honourable Justice Petra Hanna-Adderley provided a number of procedural rulings and guidance in relation to the judicial review application. This included establishing the dates on which the Court will hear the judicial review application, which will be 29 and 30 March 2021, with a ruling to follow at some point thereafter.
Drilling of the Perseverance #1 exploration well in The Bahamas has been underway since 20 December 2020 (consistent with previous announcements prior to Christmas 2020). The well remains on track to take 45 - 60 days from commencement to complete .
BPC will provide further updates in relation to the Court process as and when there are any material developments.
Simon Potter, CEO of BPC, said:
"Despite numerous opportunities over many years to input constructively, environmental groups seem determined simply to derail BPC's project in The Bahamas. Attempts to secure orders from the Court to this effect have not been successful, and the drilling of Perseverance #1 continues. Likewise, these groups have argued that BPC should be excluded as a party to the judicial review action they have brought, despite virtually all communications and documents issued by these groups referring directly and extensively to BPC. We are pleased that the Court has recognised the inconsistency of this position, and ruled in BPC's favour. As a respondent to the application BPC will have full standing on the matter in Court, and in a cost sense, the applicants can be held financially accountable if their action turns out to have been without merit. BPC thus welcomes the ruling."

At present, alongside our Stena Icemax, the offshore supply ship Hos Blackfoot arrived from
US Port of Palm Beach for the second time in past 7 days...obviously it's a busy time right now

Obviously not brains ;@)
I have been going through the Bahamian Evolution videos and there are some crackpot ideas - like selling billions of tonnes of their sand.
We will hopefully get the results from our drilling within the month - put it out for offers and get the flock out of the Bahamas before it implodes lol.
Stay safe all ;@)
...very special.
For the sake of a couple of weeks would it hurt anyone to keep things civil until we know the result.
We are, I assume, all adults here and whilst we get through the 5hi7e that is going on in the Bahamas with the folks who are trying to stick in the knife at every opportunity, it would be very nice to see some meaningful chat going on here.
For info - the vote on the Tribune site appears to have died a death with the result being 54.9% in favour and 45.1% against - no further comments from the objectors.
The Our Islands Our Future page is still leading with the insurance claim which has been found to be incorrect, they are in fact keeping all their false claims live on their site.
Here is a video from 2013 a presentation by Simon Potter highlighting what the plan was back then.

Cheers bynari - much appreciated as always.
Much appreciated bynari - space debris is not one of the issues I had thought we may encounter lol - for 3 vessels relating to SpaceX - Is Elon Musk looking for some fuel for his rockets?
These vessels were making regular return trips to the SIM - Clearview has been sat in Fourchon for almost a week now and Blackfoot was heading out to SIM, though the app I use MarineTraffic reckons out of range at present and was last seen heading to the SIM.
Plenty of scenarios to play, though the lack of movement from Clearview suggests to me that SIM does not need anything else at present - possibly as they have enough kit on board already and just do not need anything replenishing yet. It may be they are about finished with drilling for now.
Sadly bynari and his regular updates have stopped for the moment so if anyone else has eyes on the SIM and any supply vessels feeding her it is all just guesswork.
Stay safe all - those immortal words - "Not long now" Thursday and the run up to the presentation will of course be interesting times. ;@)
keith1 - I do not believe I have knowingly talked this share up or down over the years. Usually, I would answer questions and/or correct misinformation - never ever used the buy or sell opinion - thus my suggestion it was a load of old tosh - and for me to be so high on the list make a mockery of it - having looked at my profile I average 394 posts in a year and I have posted on a lot of boards lol.
So not one to believe I should rank so highly - stay safe all ;@)
pappalazz - they suggested they would be able to remove the umbilical cord in the event of an impending storm which would apparently be an easy thing to do.
That does fly in the face of the recent suggestion that stopping the drill would be dangerous !!
pappalazz - strangely there was an interview online with an interview with Simon and Eytan where they both suggested FSPO would be the means of flogging oil off the back of a boat.
Ordinarily, I would go dig out the interview but a long day - I believe it was with Pro-Active Investors. Might be worth you having a dig around for it.
Prospect- Sorry but this is what you would get https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xn50JSI0W-E
Right - went to the gym and used the machines until they ran out of double-deckers and biscuit boosts. Knackered now !!]
FFS - I need a rest after that Prospect- I think I need to get back in the gym.
we could manage over a thousand trades today, though the running total on the LSE bourse is still less than 2% of shares in issue.
By the end of the day that number will change of course, especially if we get some tasty after hours trades. ;@)
I take little note of stuff like that ss. There are a lot of new monikers on here who may wish to steer clear of such websites and lists though.
Stay safe, and always ask before using the curtains to clean yourself on at a posh bird's house ;@)
joatmon - it is a load of old tosh - pay no heed to this sort of thing unless your own research agrees with its result.
Number 5, for example was very much Mr Ramptastic in his time but over a year ago.
Number 25 - he was just a big gob5hi7e who liked the sound of his own importance- it may have even been Donald Trump the amount of garbage he spouted.
Trust your own instincts as to who may be ramping or deramping if they are even words outside a share bulletin board lol
Stay safe - never use your own scrotum as a brake pad on a bike - or any other mode of transport ;@)
