I have to say, that comment is a bit out of order noviceinv - there are quite a number of folk here with quite a wedge in here - Harry may have been one of them. With so many shares in circulation, especially these days, a few million is nothing flash anymore.

Whilst I see no need in making any formal/informal declaration of personal holdings I think your comment was unnecessary.

We get many experts posting here - some who are, and some who are not, invested here.

Everyone else needs to ensure they do their own research as it can become quite confusing listening to all of the advice - should I invest or should I sell?

Never risk what you cannot afford to lose - though sometimes easier said than done.

According to figures quoted by the company - BPC are sat on gulf sized resevoirs of oil, not seen in a long time.
If that is the case then perhaps the risk/reward play is worth it. BUT they may not get to it !!

That said, I am personally in for the long(er) haul to the end having been here since around 2010 and have listened to the rationale from the company as to why The Bahamas.

I have read and heard about funding, purchase and warehousing of equipment designed to fit the drill ship.
I have heard about a team of professionals who will be hired and ready to commence the drilling.
I have listened to presentations detailing the results of 3D seismic reports.
I have read RNS
I have bought more when I can but currently maxed out as far as my finances will allow presently.
I heard Eytan Uliel suggest these lowly prices will soon be forgotten.

I am hopeful that the time spent seeing the several ups and many downs the SP has taken which has seen my portfolio value reach the several hundred percent profit to currently shy of just under 10% down.

Could I kick myself? Yes of course I could .
Am I happy? I could have been a lot happier.
Would I have as many grey hairs? I already had them from my 30's.

Do your own research - if you make a loss it is not someone else's fault - only you can press the buy/sell button.

Take control - do not sweat over the minor changes - I was here in the old days (with a lot less shares) watching this fly into the 20p's only to see it plummet. I was here when we reached over 7p in 2018 only to see it plummet.

The price has been worse than it is today since 2018.

A long post - but can be summarised - make your choice - stick by it - no one else to blame/thank.

Nothing changes here. Lots of noise from the sidelines and guesstimates and even the old chestnut WNWTBOOTOTW

Drilling is not due for a few months yet - small gains on the way up may occur but as EU suggested some time ago - the current price will soon be forgotten about.

In the meantime, relax, watch the rigs moving around on whatever IT one uses.

It is a sad lowly options price of course - would have been a lot better had the excercise price had been at least double what it is to give a little more confidence.

Harry - my advice is not to take advice from others when it comes down to your own money - you have given a good account for your decisions which are sound. ONLY YOU can make those decisions as you well know.

You have stated you still have your foot in the camp and as you stated, made a small profit alreadt - bird in the hand and all that. It may be you could make more - but as we all know you could lose it all in an instant.

Keep the faith and stay safe.

Willec - making statements like that can either give you credibility or lose it all.

Whilst I put what I could afford to lose I put in a lot more than that too as I know a lot here have.

It is such a pity we are very unlikely to get anything back even a small percentage. It was bad enough in the MA days when folk remortgaged their houses in the days of Zedd and Razor with his toot toot slogan.

Lots of good folk were taken in by MA and MB - not sure what happened to one of the poster's who invested a huge amount. Hopefully he had managed to recoup something back from the shysters.

In the meantime, I hope everyone of the faithful here has not been ravaged by the effects of COVID.

This has been a huge lesson though for some an all too painful one - houses lost, marriages broken and families destroyed over the years. Thankfully I was not one of the unfortunate ones who took out a re-mortgage for this sure fire winner and probably more thankful I did not convince family and friends to invest.

I think we will have at least one square wheel for a while. It will be a bumpy road until it rounds itself off.

With the numerous 5 million trades, cancelled or otherwise and other perhaps decent PI trades going on lately we need to be able to settle down as quickly as possible.

I think once we hit November it will be a little smoother as by then we should be seeing signs of the drill ship news.

Until then we need to buckle back in on this very long and quite tedious roller coaster.

I have to say viewing the board of late is a lot less tiresome since utilising the filter.

3D seismic and the Moyes Report of course suggest differently and with the prospect of larger than Gulf nations proportions we can all get sucked in on the promises of riches.

There are no guarantees here. Tread carefully, there are changes to be made to the company on the way to drillind deadline.

We do not know what, when or where. It will all be a surprise good or bad.

Set your targets - don't risk what you cannot afford to lose and have an exciting journey along the way.

Of course I can look back and kick myself for not cashing in last time we were 7p. I have since doubled my holding and those sensible to have cashed in will be sitting very pretty.

Hanging on to the hype and expectation can be very easy and emotions, along with greed/desire, can get in the way.

If you make a plan and stick to it, then that is the plan and you can walk away having achieved your goal. Try not to look back but be happy with your lot - especially when it comes to AIM - I know you experienced it with the very publicised experiment in Cleveland where the shenanigans were very bent.

Whilst I certainly think multiples of 10p are a way off fairy dream in the company's present guise - I hark back at my waste of time and pointless selling share DGO not long before I boarded the good ship BPC amd say anything can happen.

Hi Jim, I now note that on the LSE list, which means only one trade of 5 mill gone through successfully albeit it was the one of slightly higher value.

Bit of a shame really that it was not 3 separate decent purchases. ADVFN shows no correction at present.

We can but dream lol. Still a lot to play for - Still a lot to lose.

Either way that is the total transaction BUY or SELL

At the end of the day though - 15,000,000 is still a small drop in a very large ocean of BPC shares currently in issue.
