Mr.Spacetomato - glass always half full fella ;@)
I'm afraid this little attempt at rocking the market, has not worked and instead of increasing my portfolio total.
Sadly it has had quite the opposite effect.
"the size of the structures, please be filled to spill!"
somm - I do believe Simon and Eytan are expecting them to be. Thankfully not long left to wait (Again lol!!)
Spudded on 20th so 60 days is 17th February - we would not wish to get confused with the other Perseverance would we?
After such a long wait for results of P1 I would hope P-Rover will let BPC have the limelight for a day.
It would have been nice to have a website dedicated to our Perseverance as Rover has mars.nasa.gov/mars2020/
Correct Proselenes, however, as a company which is self-funding, and by all accounts may need a further dilution, would it be worthwhile throwing good money after bad when that money would have been better utilised in T&T, Suriname and Uruguay?
Nothing is certain, and nobody has staked their life on there being a find - however, putting all the pieces together it has a more positive feel, together with the company's addition to the JR.
We have seen several flights by a helicopter to and from the rig - more than usual - It could be that Covid has breached the measures or an accident and folks taken off/replaced.
It could be that folks have been a little eager to see what is happening - I doubt anyone would wish to do so to witness nothing.
Time will tell - my radar suggests 17th February is not too long away to reach that 60-day suggestion of maximum days drilling which of course includes plugging and any remediation work.
We will be watching with interest the movement of supply vessels and the IceMax herself.
If not deemed too rude - what will you be doing with yourself if there is a positive outcome?
Would you continue to enlighten the crowd here?
Starchild - Did you get the letters in your post title a little bit wrong - I am sure the 2nd and 3rd letters should have been R and I - Keep up the good well-presented work.
Stay safe ;@)
ulvers - Alien Life Form - far too polite. See previous responses in this thread.
Spaceconcept - watch the video interview for an easy to understand perspective.
For a more technical overview read RNS Number : 8608Z which you can find via the link on this page or the BPC website.
Two CPRs mentioned by Simon Potter in the video of the interview

Bogans to me were the folks deemed underclass - I dealt with many in my day job, though thankfully for them I have a high tolerance/patience level, however, I think in my wiser days and outside the job, my levels have much reduced, though I have not yet reached my full misanthropic level just yet. Working on it lol Stay safe all ;@)

Brutal - I think if you read my response you will see the answer - read the text and you will see - it may not be that obvious but you will see ALF or alf
pappalazz - you are on the right track. ;@)
It is aggravating when you do not know, I agree a little. But it is a f&$ker when you have no clue.
BigSi - My agenda - is protecting my investment in a way that I am not seen as a ramper or otherwise.
Had I wanted to expand the question I posed, I would have added a number of options, however, wished to make the question a simple one, so I would gracefully decline your suggestion.
To clarify, you commented that the directors referred to the drill as a "cert" you may wish to revisit the interview I linked to as at 3:26 you will hear Mr Potter give his rationale of stating that "...for a frontier exploration prospect is virtually a Dead Cert"
Mr Potter has a decent CV in the industry - I am aware that some posters here also have experience of the oil industry and finance, however, few folks are as open in their identity and openness about their background and CV.
None have the background in BPC, and Alan Burns chose none of the posters here to take over the company, instead choosing Simon Potter, so I am happy to stick with the question as it was posed.
I have done the research that I feel I need to do for the time being, though look daily outside this bulletin board for any snippets of information which may affect my position.
More ALFs here today than there has been for a while.
For those that keep harping on about a 65% chance of failure and a 25% chance of oil - you do need to revisit the interview on this link youtube.com/watch?t=127&v=K8lIplrzbF4&feature=youtu.be to get the company's view - while I would suggest - it may be biased, I will say they know a damned sight more than the majority of posters about oil drilling and the prospects for BPC.
I will pose a question for all readers and posters alike -
Who would be best to take advice from with regards to the prospects of a company?
a)
An anonymous poster with more to say about a subject they perhaps know little about, and with a personal agenda?
(If no agenda they why would people be posting)
OR
b)
A spokesperson for a company who has the technical background, experience and expertise under their belt, with contacts in the industry the company is in?
Stay safe all ;@)
LLL - bit late with a link to Ms Cousteau - she was bumping her gums before we spudded.
Old news - not even news - merely a personal opinion.
Folks will continue to visit the Bahamas by using vehicles relying on fossil fuels to get there.
They will continue to use plastics and leave their rubbish on the beach.
They will swim in the beautiful clear waters and post their beautiful photos of their beautiful lives on social media whose servers are stored inside massive underground bunkers which use megawatts of energy.
They continue to breathe the same air like you and me.
Pointless post as is this one. Another ALF!! Stay safe ;@)
molokai - if you are passing purgatory on your way, pop in for a pint.
laallee - On reflection, it was "a little too good to be true scenario" however, receiving such news at the time was quite a rush to the head and you were probably right to post it. I do not believe it has tarnished anyone's reputation.
Not too long ago everyone was complaining that the Rainbow Warrior was scuppering things - mistakes are made and we are all allowed to make them.
There was another rumour with the quality of oil backed up with a comment about a share purchase of 7,500,000.
We will get many more stories on the run up to the real results - we were going to be over-run with the Reddit crew earlier.
The Pole = Just read that post and it put me off to sleep
Boringgggggg::::::::FACT
Just reading through all the posts for today and saw this post which very much has an ALF trait - FACT is that if one is asleep they would be unable to post and within 5 minutes of a post would not be deemed a sleep, more a nap - That is an ALF Fact.
J-Black15 = I’m not on the Facebook group and for some reason got blocked when I requested to join!
It has been mentioned many times before - anyone can join the Facebook group so long as they are joining with a real named facebook account - remaining a member does not have to mean blowing smoke up anyone's a55 - however, continually posting ho55 5hi7 will perhaps get your membership of the site curtailed.
I rarely post on it, however, sometimes there are some interesting posts - both positive and negative.
Just had a look at their petition directed towards Bruce Carnegie-Brown the CEO of Lloyds.
Current scores on the doors = 17,041 signatures -2,959 SIGNATURES UNTIL 20K
TO: Lloyd's of London CEO Bruce Carnegie-Brown
Please immediately commit to not renewing insurance for the Bahamas Petroleum Company's exploratory offshore drilling project -- the planet can't afford more destructive fossil fuel projects.
Looks like the organisation will campaign for most things seen as a blight to the planet - just look at this lot and then look at their other 'actions' https://www.sumofus.org/campaigns/
