Good morning John. As usual a good question! 2016 looks like an interesting one as the Chinese say.

The bulk of my GVC bought around 200 so on well over a double. Bought another chunk in my ISA at 400 2 months ago so that is 25% up. Sadly most of my others NOT.

A UT transaction is called u crossing trade and is used between MMs to balance the books either way if they wish at the close of trading. But of course they may choose to keep their book long or short. generally the figures of such a transaction are high or highest!

Hi JOhn. What a peculiar trad yesterday. A UT one of £6.96. Why would anyone do such a small technical thing unless they were for example stopping dealing in this one.
