I have never heard of benchmarking part of a fund. Where is your confirmation that this is so? Woodford does not follow the herd. He is a value investor first and foremost. And he is usually extremely successful.

You seem to have got hold of completely the wrong end of the stick if you do not mind me saying so. Redde used to be called Helphire and simply changed its name! They never had a financial crash. Then you talk about penny shares. These are just under £2! However bad a market there will always be companies which flourish and pay rising divs like this one. I bought my little share namely 808 shares @ 116.32 some months ago. Well pleased - if only they were all like this one.

Yet it has an English name. Excellent adverts on Italian TV when the Giro is on. The chart is very strong over many years. It even went up yesterday when the German market was down 4%.
